It was since 1893 E.C. (1900 G.C.) that piped water service was started in Addis Ababa. In the beginning, the provision of drinkable water was delegated to the then Ministry of Works. And following the defeat of Fascist Italian invaders in 1934, this responsibility was transferred to the newly re-established Municipal Office. To cater to the increasingly growing demand for water and wastewater disposal services, there arose a need for the establishment of an independent body that would primarily focus on the provision of the services. Consequently, the Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Service Authority was set up as per proclamation No. 68/1963, in 1963 E.C. (1971 G.C.). And in 1987 E.C. (1995 G.C.)  fresh powers were invested in the authority, while being reestablished with a slightly different name, i.e., Addis Ababa 

Position 1: Accountant

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or college parchment in accounting with 0 years of experience in the field  previous to the first degree and 2 years of experience in the field  previous to the college diploma 
Salary  10,022 

Position 2: Loan Specialist 

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in accounting, 2 years of experience in the field of accounting, 4 years of experience in the field of accounting, and at least 1 year of experience in microfinance institutions. 
Salary 11,602, Telephone and transportation allowance will be provided. 

Position 3: Head of the Administration and Finance Department 

Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with 2 years of experience in the field of accounting, and 4 years of experience in the field of accounting, and at least 1 year of experience in microfinance institutions 
 Salary 16512, Telephone and transportation allowance will be provided. 

Position 4: Manager 

Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or original in operation or business administration, with 4 years of experience in the field of management or business administration, and 6 years of experience in the field of management. 
 Salary 20,005; Telephone and transportation allowance will be provided. 
 Location Addis Ababa
