Awash Bank invites competent and qualified candidates for the following vacant job positions. On November 10, 1994, following the downfall of the socialist regime, Awash Bank emerged as Ethiopia's pioneering private bank. 486 founding shareholders established the bank with a paid-up capital of Birr 24.2 million, and it commenced banking operations on Feb. 13, 1995.

Since embarking on the operation, the Bank has registered remarkable growth. Notwithstanding global and domestic challenges, Awash Bank has exhibited superior functional and fiscal performance among private banks operating in Ethiopia. Awash Bank is currently working towards strengthening its capital base, technological capabilities, mortal resources, and customer base. 

Position 1: Senior – Financial Risk Management Officer 

Qualification & Experience 
BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Banking and Finance, or a related field plus a minimum of six (6) years of related experience. 

Job Summary 
The jobholder is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting fiscal risks within the bank. S/he provides input into the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis, and ensures compliance with nonsupervisory requirements. The retainer will work closely with colorful units to safeguard the bank's assets and ensure the stability of fiscal operations by enhancing the mechanism for proper risk management.

Position 2: Manager – Digital Media Marketing Division 

Qualification & Experience 
BA Degree in Social Sciences or Business, preferably in Marketing/Digital Marketing, plus a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience, with at least three (3) years in an administrative role. 
Masters in a business-related course (added advantage) 
Training on Digital Marketing (added advantage) 

Job Summary 
The jobholder is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing the social media and digital marketing strategy that promotes the bank's brand, products, and services; maintaining a brand’s online presence and sales by managing marketing messages on colorful channels like social media networks, Google Ads, website content, and email marketing. S/he builds a commercial image by delivering a strong and cohesive marketing message to the public.

Position 3: Manager – Security Service Division

Qualification & Experience 

BA degree in management or other business-related fields plus a minimum of ten (10) years of applicable experience, with at least three (3) years in an administrative position. 

Job Summary 
The jobholder is responsible for general supervision, planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the security and protocol. She checks the felicitousness of development & and perpetration of security programs, protocols, and procedures of the bank's head office.
