Program Background The Clinton Health Access Initiative,Inc.( CHAI) associated with former President WilliamJ. Clinton’s Foundation is presently operating in Ethiopia carrying out a wide range of programs to support the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in perfecting the health status of the country by icing access and quality of health services. CHAI is a global health association committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of complaint in low- and middle- income countries, while strengthening the capabilities of governments and the private sector in those countries to produce and sustain high- quality health systems that can succeed without backing. CHAI Ethiopia is presently working in the following programsNon-Communicable conditions( NCDs), motherly and Newborn Health( MNH), HIV Access, Lab Services, Vaccines, Child Survival/ Essential drug program, and Health Financing. In collaboration with Government of Ethiopia, CHAI has been enforcing an Essential drug/ Child Survival since 2015 to address crucial motorists of child mortality with a focus on perfecting access to live saving goods through addressing force chain walls. The program has addressed the challenges grounded on precedence services delivery areas of Child Health through optimization of procurement and the overall force chain operation of essential child health goods with remarkable achievements. Along with scoping in further strengthening and redesigning of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Management Sector for converted and sustained Essential Medicines vacuity, the Essential drug program has continued to support MOH to ameliorate access to medical oxygen concentrated on system strengthening for the current COVID- 19 operation and beyond. Job Summary
Under the guidance of Senior Medical Equipment specialized counsel, the position holder will be responsible for supporting CHAI, PMED/ Ministry of Health and the Tirunesh Beijing Hospital platoon in the procurement process, custom concurrence, establishment of the conservation factory center, and full operation.
