The Embassy of the Republic of Mauritius in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia was opened in June 1996.H.E.Dr. Sahid Maudarbacus was the primary resident Ambassador in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Our work at the Consulate covers a broad spectrum of actions together including Applications for Assistance to Mauritians in Distress Abroad, Applications for Pensions, Information on Mauritian Passport, Information on Citizenship, Business Opportunities, Immigration & Health necessities, Laws and Regulations, Tourist Information, Visa and Entry Requirements and Residence Permit.
Position 1 Administrative Assistant/ Finance Officer
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Financial Management or analogous
Computer knowledgeable with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
Fluent in written and spoken English and Amharic
Experience
Minimum two( 2) years ’ experience in an office setting
A recommendation letter from the former employer should be included.
Position 2 Clerical Officer/ Receptionist
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
Computer knowledgeable with good working data in Microsoft Word & Excel
Fluent in each written and spoken English and Amharic Experience
Minimum two( 2) years ’ work experience in library/ registry management in an office setting
Position 3 Logistic Assistant/ Driver
Educational Qualification
Advanced SchoolCertificate( Secondary school completed)
Fluent in English
Valid Driver’s Licence
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years ’ work experience as a Driver. Past working experience with IGOs Politic Missions will be an advantage
Position 4 Confidential Secretary To The Ambassador
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in operation/ Secretarial Science
- Computer knowledgeable with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
Fluent in written and spoken English and Amharic
Experience
- Minimum two( 2) years of work expertise in an office setting
