Position 1: Interest Free Banking Financing Officer
Job Summery
- Ensures smooth operation of IFB windows through the provision of active support and guidance;
- Ensure IFB window dedication is properly implemented at all branches;
- Ensure all branches adhere to Shariah rules, principles and directions of Shariah Advisory commission;
- Monitors constant enhancement of customer service delivery of IFB windows as per the Bank’s standard;
- Supports the IFB- Window Service to achieve its targets without compromising internal control of functional transactions;
- Follow up timely delivery of inquires information from separate branches’ IFB windows;
- Give support to branches on handling IFB Customer’s issues i.e. investigating and resolving customer complaints regarding the services;
- Ensures that all IFB books of accounts are segregated, in balance and periodic ending of books of accounts are properly conducted and consolidated;
- Regularly follows the branches’ rectification of IFB related discrepancies reported by authorized work units and ensure improvements in the rectification process and rate;
- Propose process and procedural improvements on domestic banking operations for IFB services;
- Regularly Maintain Updated IFB window list and IFB window related information in his her database;
- Set- up and facilitate specialized trainings on branch operations for Interest Free Banking products and services;
Other Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Bank policies, practices, procedures, risk controls and guidelines in carrying out duties;
- Prepare periodic & ad- hoc reports and timesheets as required;
- Ensure adherence to the defined culture by demonstration of applicable behavior required to meet Bank’s demands and performance expectations;
- Ensure that tasks are completed to the agreed standards within the agreed time scales.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor
Qualification
- BA in Business Management, Economics, Marketing Management, Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, and any other related fields with 3.5 years of experience in relative fields, preferably in banking industry, of which at least 1 year as a applicable IFB officer position.

Position 2: Interest Free Banking Financing Officer
Job Summary
- Ensures Shari’ah compliance of all financing requests before presenting to backing appraisal officer for farther analysis;
- Collects/ receives the customer’s application with a complete set of the required documents information;
- Facilitates the property estimation proposed as collateral
- Facilitates properties offered as collaterals are properly and timely valued;
- Conducts the due diligence assessment on the customer;
- Prepares an independent financing analysis/ appraisal;
- Facilitates the registration of collaterals and its renewal offered by customers;
- Makes sure that sales, Backing and security contrasts duly prepared as per the terms and conditions of the backing! decision;
- Conducts financing follow- up rigorously on a case- by- case basis and ensure quality of financings and advances.
- Follows- up financing repayment patterns of a customer whenever, a problem arises with regards to financing collections report the delinquency/ delay to his/ her immediate administrator;
- assistances timely collection of backing;
- Prepares threat Grading on commercial and retail based financing requests of customers;
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualification
- BA in Business Management, Economics, Marketing Management, Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, and any other related fields with 3.5 years of experience in relative fields, preferably in banking industry, of which at least 1year as a applicable IFB officer position.

Position 3: Branch Auditor
Job Summary
- Undertake audit examination
- Review sale and the proper functioning of the internal control procedures throughout the Branch,
- Conducts special investigation when needed,
Qualification
- BA Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Management and any other related fields with 3.5 years of experience in internal/ external auditing, preferably in banking industry.
Duty station Mekelle, Jimma
Position 4: Senior Auditor
Job Summery
- Assists supervisor in developing audit procedures and preparation of work programs.
- Assists in the identification of auditable conditioning.
- Identifies shortcomings of the internal control system of the bank and proposes remedial action.
- Examines and verifies source documents for the delicacy and correctness of accounting and financial transactions.
- Audits the accuracy of calculations on commissions, currency conversions, interests and foreign banking transactions.
- Checks documents of foreign banking activities and verifies the validity and authenticity of invoices.
- Provides close support to the Director of the Department and scrutinizes audit reports and discusses audit findings with fellow adjudicators and the concerned units.
- Examines the proper maintenance of records on all financial transactions of the bank.
- Performs other duties as required by the supervisor.
Qualification
- MBA/ MA in Economics, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management, and any other related fields with 3.5 times of experience or BA in the same fields with 5.5 years of experience in applicable fields in banking industry of which at least 2 years as a applicable officer position.
