Ethiopian Airlines Group would like to announce a new vacant position in the capacity of INSTRUCTOR Specialized – NAVIGATION. Ethiopian Airlines( Ethiopian) has had further than 75 years of successful journey which made it the leading Aviation Group in Africa. Of course, Ethiopian is geriatric beautifully. Over the decades, the airline has established itself as the leader in all facets of the aviation business technology leadership, network expansion and aviation mentoring. Ethiopian started its operation with five C- 47 aircrafts back in 1946 and made its debut fight to Cairo via Asmara. Ever since, it has been growing in leaps and bounds, and continued to introduce cutting- edge aviation technology and systems. As aviation technology leader, Ethiopian was a pioneer in ushering in new aviation technology into Africa including the first jet airplane as well as the first B767, B777- 200LR, B787 Dreamliner, and787- 9 in the continent. Ethiopian also led the way in operating Africa’s first Airbus A350 XWB.
Currently, the airline has a fleet of more than 144 ultramodern aircraft with average fleet age of five years; it also has 31 modern aircraft on order. POSITION INSTRUCTOR Specialized – NAVIGATION
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
BSc Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or related field of studies, with Diploma/ Certificate in Air Navigation & a minimum of five years as Flight Navigator OR Diploma in Aeronautical Administration and 10 years of applicable experience of which 5 years as Flight Navigator and must have Diploma/ Certificate in Air Navigation. OR Degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronic engineering, and a minimum of 100 hrs flying time, out of which 76 hours in on aircraft in a recognized flying school, and at least 80 of the academics covered. NB Age limit 18 – 35 years old LANGUAGE Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory and other foreign languages are desirable.
