Ethiopian Human Rights Commission( EHRC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions.

Position 1: Personal Assistant
Qualifications and Experience
• BA or Diploma( Level IV Certificate) in any Social Science Studies.
• 0 years of experience with a BA degree. 2 years of experience working as a particular Assistant, Secretarial Service, or Office management for a Diploma( Level IV Certificate)
• Commitment and willingness to work with persons with disabilities.
• Computer knowledgeable
• Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous.
SALARY RANGE Gross yearly salary of ETB 8,536.00 – ETB 9,667.00 plus ETB 4,320.00 Housing allowance and ETB 3,300.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidate qualification, experience and earning history.
Location Head Office, Addis Ababa
Position 2: Human Rights Officer, Human Rights Education
Qualifications and Experience
• LLB/ LLM in Human Rights Law, International Law, or related fields.
• 4 years of applicable experience for BA/ LLB and 2 years of applicable experience for MA/ LLM. Experience in curriculum development, educational design, or educational program management is essential.
• Strong research, writing, and editing skills. Proficiency in educational design principles and familiarity with human rights issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Computer knowledgeable
• Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous.
SALARY RANGE Gross yearly salary of ETB 20,400.00 – ETB 23,683.00 plus ETB 8,640.00 Housing allowance and ETB 3,300.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidate qualification, experience and earning history

• MA/ BA Degree in Law, Human Rights Law, International Law, Gender Studies, or related fields.
• 4 years of applicable experience for BA and 2 years of applicable experience for MA.

• Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other original languages is advantageous.
