Position 1: Generalist Field Officer 2 

Request Qualification and Experience 
Education University degree in Social Science or similar 
Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar fields 
Minimum of two years of program/ project experience with public/ international organizations or other humanitarian agencies or in the private sector 
Location Nekemt 
Deadline December  24, 2024 

Duties and Responsibilities 
Understands and adheres to the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement 
Understands and adheres to the ICRC Code of Conduct 
Understands the roles of the components of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement 
Always respects and observes staff regulations and security rules. 
Always professionally represents the ICRC. 
Develops and maintains an affable and conducive working environment with colleagues and line managers. 
Performs all duties with the loftiest level of confidentiality in the interest of the employees and the ICRC. 
May be asked to perform tasks not covered in this job description and to provide support to other departments when necessary. 

Additional Duties 

Interprets and translates for the Generalist Field Delegate and/ or other colleagues as required 
Follows up on all work-related messages and correspondence with the applicable contacts and departments 
Is apprehensive of the delegation’s objectives and has a good knowledge of the Movement and other contacts applicable to the position 
Collects and shares information to improve the ICRC’s understanding of the environment and humanitarian trends and responses 
Represents the ICRC in an applicable way during activities, in meetings, and in the field, and avoids any activity that may reflect negatively on the ICRC’s image 
Takes responsibility for their professional learning and development

Position 2: Welcome Assistant 

Request Qualification and Experience 
Education A  minimal BA degree in Business, Administration, Management, Accounting, LSCM, Aviation, Tourism, Foreign Language, or other related fields 
years and below experience in customer service or administration or travel management; preferably in Airlines, international hotels, logistics & transport firms, Travel & Tour agencies, and/ or travel management companies or government institutions. Having experience in INGOs will be a plus. 
Location Addis Ababa

Position 3: Logistic Assistant –Re-advertisement 

Request Qualification and Experience 
Education University degree or Specialized degree with original experience in logistics, and administration. 
Good command of spoken and written English and the original working language( Knowledge of Afan Oromo & Amharic).

Decide on sourcing – original or forward to ADD 
Could you provide feedback to the requester concerning the status of validated Requisition Orders? 
Please make sure that orders are delivered on time. 
Follow-up on the process until the supplier delivers goods and services. 
Work in close cooperation with carpool to ensure effective movements and delivery of requested goods.
