Position: Trade Development Representative  

Required Education and Skills 

BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Deals, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering and related fields 

A minimum of 2 years of experience. 

Experience in team building, leading and related tasks is preferable. 

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

Proven work experience as a Trade Development Representative, or similar role 

Hands- on experience with multiple sales techniques( including cold calls) 

Track record of achieving sales quotas 

Familiarity with MS Excel( analyzing spreadsheets and charts) 

Understanding of sales performance metrics 

Excellent communication and negotiation skills 

Ability to deliver engaging presentations 

Knowledge of mediation and conflict resolution techniques is preferable. 

Excellent oral and spoken English skills, Amharic, and the original language. The purpose of a trade development representative  part is to promote and facilitate trade between businesses in different regions or locales. This role involves identifying implicit trade opportunities, building  connections with implicit partners, and providing support and guidance to businesses looking to expand the  request reach and also to increase subscribers through subscriber enrollments  within an allocated market zone in order to achieve and surpass set targets on acquisition of new subscribers through direct selling and trade activities.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities 

Contact implicit clients in person, through calls, and emails 

Present our company products and services to implicit clients 

Identify client  requirements and suggest applicable products services 

Build long- term trusting relationships with clients 

Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market 

Set up meetings or calls between( prospective) clients 

Report to the immediate supervisor on( daily, daily/ yearly/ daily/ annually) 

Stay up- to- date with new products services and new pricing/ payment plans 

Possessing excellent knowledge to enhance customer support 

Getting the sale ” using  colorful customer sales methods 

Forecasting sales, developing “ out of the box ” sales strategies models and evaluating their effectiveness 

Evaluating customer’s skills, requirements and building productive long- continuing relationships

Report and provide feedback to immediate supervisors using financial statistical data 

Maintain and expand the  customer database within your assigned territory.
