Position 1 Manager, CORE Banking & Auxiliary System Division

Qualification MSC, MA, BSC, BA in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information system, Information technology, MIS or related field of study

Experience 9 years of experience in applicable position in the banking industry of which 2 years as Core Banking and Auxiliary System Principal Office or original position.

Job Description

Coordinate and lead the activities of the division.

Ensure the availability of the Bank’s core and supplementary system from the IT side.

Manage the smooth running of the diurnal operation of the systems through proper monitoring and follow- up.

Ensure that the Bank’s functional requirements are achieved through parameterization and customization.

Ensure that the alternate level supports provided to different organs of the Bank are based on standard time and quality.

Ensure Incidents, events and problems are handled properly.

Communicate with the Bank’s technology providers so as to maintain the Bank’s interest.

Escalate Applications related issues logged to vendors to the applicable officials of the vendor whenever the supports aren't up to SLA.

Coordinate the management of the Bank’s technological implementation i.e. Configuration, customization, patch or release update and migration( if required) and new product development.

Manage Functional and Regression testing around the Bank’s supplementary system’s application.

Plan, direct, and manage all aspects of application management and development activities within the division and in collaboration with vendors.

Manage the core and supplementary systems performances and resolve issues timely in product, UAT and other environments.

Ensure that the Bank’s solution/ Applications are designed to address the Bank’s unborn growth need in terms of scalability.

Position 2 Branch Manager I

Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration or other related fields of studies.

Experience Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience at a Bank out of which One (1) Year as Customer Services Manager or original role.

Job Description

The Branch Manager will plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office. S/ he will ensure that operating procedures, rules, and code of practices of the Bank and controllers directives and country law are adhered to by all staff. S/ he will also coordinate the sales business development efforts of the branch. The Branch manager will also lead the customer service initiatives and guides branch functional excellence. S/ he will prepare and submit periodic budget, work plan and activity and progress reports. The jobholder will also participate in colorful community activities and keep in close touch with the business community to promote services offered by the Bank.
