Case Manager
Introduction
In the frame of the MAPS project, under the supervision of the Project Manager, CIFA is looking for 1 Case Manager in Dire Dawa. Project The project, entitled “ Migration and Access to Protection and Basic Services integrated interventions on the Eastern migration route( MAPS) ” is implemented in civic and pastoral areas of Harar, Chiro of West Harrage and Dire Dawa Administration. It's intended to support people vulnerable to irregular migration including returnees, implicit migrants( including the most vulnerable categories women, victims of trafficking and lonely children) transiting to or departing from the Middle East. The aim of the project is to carry out common actions to combat the root causes of irregular migration through promoting employment opportunities, improving introductory services and protection of civic communities with an important gender consideration. In the framework of the MAPS project, under the supervision of the Project Manager, CIFA is looking for 1 Case Manager

Organization
CIFA is an transnational NGO with over 40 years of commitment in protecting the most vulnerable children. Working in Ethiopia for over 20 years, CIFA supports the access to primary and secondary education, especially for girls; it fights against the worst forms of demarcation and supports women’s profitable empowerment. With this approach, CIFA currently works in Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa City Administration, Amhara, Hareri and Oromia Region.
Key Tasks
• Identify and select beneficiaries, according to a careful assessment conducted with the social workers, the psychologists and the original authorities( cerebral, social, health, profitable, migration risk, and other criteria will be considered), and take over the project with personalized multidimensional accompaniment and participatory approach
• Manage theCo-housing activity and infrastructure, supporting regardful and positive working relationships with the beneficiary of the project
• Provide support in the case management of utmost vulnerable heirs, similar as women, children, mothers.
• Conduct a particular and family needs assessment of all beneficiaries of theco-housing activity and be active in the reintegration/ addition process and provide support to address challenges as applicable( reunification, vocational training, education, transportation, employment & legal assistance)
• Ensure the safety, health, and well- being of the beneficiaries
• Develop personalized case plans with long- term and short- term goals and objectives.
• Undertake daily administrative, monitoring, and support visits
• nearly work with project manager, social workers, psychologists & stakeholders in the course of design planning and implementation.
• Collect, develop, cover and dissect assessment data on project beneficiaries
• Support social workers and psychologists with regards to the other project activities
• Liaise with original government stakeholders( Women and children Affairs, Social Affairs, Health sector, faith organizations, etc) to ensure complementarity to other response plans and flexible and effective service delivery.
• Keep good, accurate, and nonpublic records and make referrals to those who bear cerebral or psychiatric, health assessment/ treatment.
• Prepare detailed yearly, daily, and periodic action plans and progress reports( with the same frequency)
• Ensure the principles of confidentiality, impartiality, andnon-judgment, respecting the confidentiality of data, being the property of the project beneficiaries and CIFA. Ensure beneficiary’s files data are duly filed and locked • Continuously stay acquainted with CIFA & donor policies, procedures, rules and regulations
• Undertake duty travels as required
• Other duties as assigned Salary ETB 16670 ETB( six- thousand- six- hundred- seventy ETB) introductory CIFA salary scale
Location – 1 in Dire Dawa with periodic travels to Chiro, Harar, CIFA Head Office in Addis Ababa & Dessie Office for training and/ or coordination meetings, if needed Duration Contract 12 months with 60 days exploration period

Qualification
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Social Sciences, Gender, or affiliated field of study
Experience
• Experience working with NGOs or philanthropic organizations for 3 years
• Experience with vulnerable groups( returnees, migrants, IDPs, mothers alone, children) IT
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word required;
• Good Knowledge of Internet, Email, Google Drive & other, Communication Platforms( skype, Google meet, zoom, etc)
Personal Skills
• Be visionary, compassionate and have an understanding of the issues surrounding the beneficiaries
• Good knowledge of Gender- grounded Violence (GBV), child protection and psychosocial support
• Excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong organizational and problem- solving skills;
• Excellent skills in time management and stress management;
• Organized, suitable to be multitasking, flexible, and suitable to work as a team and individual; Language
• Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic, both written and verbal;
