DMC Construction Plc is a first class General Contractor( GC- 1) chartered in Ethiopia to provide services in civil work projects,  substantially road construction and maintenance, building construction and maintenance, water works, airfield construction, water works construction,etc., would like to invite competent Candidates for the vacant position of Project Finance Head.  Project Finance Head  Summary  To ensure the Projects Financial Performance is  rightly measured on a yearly basis and help to coach project managers to understand the  fiscal life cycle of their projects from bidding process to conclusion.  Main duties  

• Review and certify supplier invoices related to a project.  • Investigate  design variances and submit variance reports to management.  • Verify that all source documents are original, legal, correct and the amount are true expenses of the project.  • Follow- up that all  diurnal collection and cash on hand are  instantly deposited in the bank account  complete.  • Ensure & Follow up that all  diurnal transactions are recorded and  diurnal cash reconciliation made by the cashier.  • Follow- up and certify that yearly payroll prepared to all  workers as per the attendance sheet & the authorization of  design HR, and prepares reconciliation against  former month payments.  • Check coding all source documents and entry in to the accounting system.  

• Check all disbursement document have “ paid ” stamp and referenced with voucher number.  • Follow- up that yearly payroll tax and pension contribution reported paid timely to project area branch office of Ministry of revenue.  • Check that all employee get tax identification number and pension identification number.  

• Ensure that from purchase above,000 & service  entered above,000 withhold 2 WHT and 30 from those don't have renewed trade license and do n’t have license.  • Check yearly rental( Dump truck, Machinery, Vehicleetc.) Time sheet that at all the service received as per contractual agreement.  • Check yearly rental( Dump truck, Machinery, Vehicleetc.) Time sheet that at all the service received as per contractual agreement.  

• Prepare yearly disbursement budget for all project activities.  • Send yearly  fiscal report and  fiscal documents to head office.  • Perform other function that will be assigned by project manager & company finance manager.  Job Requirements  • BA degree in accounting and Finance with at least 5 years of applicable experience, 2 years as Project Finance Head.  • Must have experiences in Peachtree, Excel, computer skill and other accounting software.  • Listing and writing Amharic and English language.  

• Ability to work under pressure.  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.  • Flexibility regarding working hours.  

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.  elderly Accountant  Duties & liabilities of the position  • Handle and process journal entries to ensure all business deals are recorded.  • Handle cash sales invoices, credit sales invoices, check payment  validations, petty cash  operation.  • Update accounts delinquent outstanding and perform reconciliations.  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other  fiscal statements according to legal and company account and  fiscal guidelines.  • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll recordsetc. as assigned.  • Update  fiscal data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and  incontinently available when needed.  • Prepare and submit daily/ yearly reports on overall  fiscal transaction of the company.  • Ensure cash collection from each sales with proper issuance of cash receipt and deposit the collected amount  incontinently to the company account.  • Prepare cash collection and deposit status report weekly.  • Update and keep  fiscal documents and records in applicable record keeping formats.  Job Requirements  • BA degree in accounting and Finance with at least 5 years of applicable experience.  • Must have experiences in Peachtree, Excel, computer skill and other accounting software.  • Listing and writing Amharic and English language.  • Ability to work under pressure.  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.  • Flexibility regarding working hours.
