The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation is inviting applications for the recruitment of 2014 E.C. and 2015 E.C. graduates who meet the requirements for the following positions. Therefore, applicants must have an Advanced Education Certificate with a CGPA of 3.5 or above for males and 3.25 or above for females.
The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECWC) is a public enterprise established on 18 December 2015 based on Council of Ministers Regulation No. 366/2015 with a sanctioned capital of Birr. Out of which Birr paid up in cash and kind. Council of Ministers Regulation No. 390/2016 amended the establishment of the corporation on 28 September 2016.
The corporation is a result of the amalgamation of three formerly independent public enterprises, namely the Ethiopian Road Construction Corporation, the Ethiopian Water Works Construction Enterprise, and the Ethiopian Prefabricated Building Parts Production Enterprise. While the establishment of the corporation is a recent phenomenon, 18 Dec. 2015, the history of the three former enterprises traces back to the late 1940s and early 1950s.
