Supporting Soil Health Interventions in African country persons
The project- Supporting Soil Health Interventions in African country – supports the Agricultural
Extension board of directors (AED) of the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) in implementing priority
activities known within the National Agricultural Extension Strategy, in the main specializing in the
Farmers-Extension-Research-Data (FRED). The project has expedited a study that assessed
the current FRED system, that has suggested interventions to enhance the system.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the coordination and implementation of activities aiming at the
establishment of improved FRED mechanism, plot testing of the roadmap developed
through the assessment conducted by a business firm and valid by stakeholders.
Plan and organize multi-stakeholder workshops and conferences and guarantee
documentation of their outputs and action points
Follows up with the implementation of action points kicking off of neutral
consultations
Lead and coordinate the preparation of reports, promotional and different documents,
including key lessons and challenges associated with the piloting of the improved FRED
linkage mechanism
Closely act and work with the SSHI and ISFM project employees
Perform different assignments PRN
Oversee and coordinate the implementation of activities toward the event and
testing of the FRED mechanism
Contribute to the event of innovative implementation approaches and new project
ideas
Contribute to the project’s coming up with, M&E, human capability development (training),
reporting
Closely act and work with the AED/ flightless bird
Perform different assignments PRN
Qualifications and skilled expertise
MSc in Agricultural Extension, scientific discipline, Agricultural social science, Rural
Development, or connected fields
At least five years of skilled expertise (in an identical position) within the areas of
Agricultural Extension and Gender, democratic agricultural extension and policy
research and development, or different relevant topics.
Experience in acting on institutional linkages and collaborations with the Ministry of
Agriculture and its stakeholders, Federal and Regional analysis systems, regional
bureaus of Agriculture and different nongovernmental and private-sector analysis and
development actors and with the farming communities
different data, further competencies
Excellent West Germanic skills, each written and oral
Proven ability to provide high-quality reports and documents, as well as publications
Excellent data of ordinary pc applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel,
and Outlook.
Experience in workshop facilitation and multi-stakeholders’ engagements
Excellent communication and presentation skills targeting totally different audiences
Experience in operating in multi-disciplinary groups
Ability to figure severally and meet deadlines beneath tight schedules
