Position 1: Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
• Process and maintain accurate diurnal financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Ensure proper filing of documents by archiving, organizing, and updating fiscal documents both hard and soft.
• Ensure the accuracy of all the financial data entered and the timely closure of the accounts every month.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and cash books.
• Assist the project platoon and finance colleagues in the preparation of financial reports for donors, management, and other applicable actors including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and receivables to ensure timely collection and disbursement.
• Prepare and file the necessary paperwork for tax and nonsupervisory compliance.
• Provide support to the finance and compliance officer in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Manage petty cash transactions, including receiving, disbursing, and reconciling petty cash funds.
• Checks and pays office utilities bills including telephone, fax, water, and electricity.
• Stay updated on applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform any other related task as may be assigned
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0- 2 years of experience in financial management preferably in NGO/ private sector experience.
• Strong understanding of introductory accounting principles and practices.
• Proven work experience in financial softwares( e.g., QuickBooks).
• Training in IPSAS.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Position 2: HR and Resources Associate
Duties and Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and update employment contracts, ensuring compliance with public labor laws and company policies.
• Digitally record and accurately manage employee records including personnel files, leaves, contracts
• Ensure timely processing of new hires, elevations, transfers, and terminations.
• Plan and apply periodic performance reviews to workers with management and leadership.
• Oversee the administration of grants from colorful sources, ensuring compliance with separate donor requirements.
• Coordinate with applicable departments to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0- 2 years of experience in financial management and compliance preferably in NGO/ private sector experience.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
• Training in IPSAS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Position 3: Finance and Compliance Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day accounting and reporting to maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Oversee and manage financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
• Check bank balance regularly and request replenishment when the expenditure reaches 75.
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and donor requirements.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of all the financial data entered and timely closure of the accounts every month.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions.
• In close coordination with the project team, prepare the yearly cash forecast and cash request for all projects to ensure cash flow.
• Process payments directly to suppliers, other vendors, and other agencies.
• Develop and implement internal control systems to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1- 4 years of experience in financial management and compliance preferably in NGO/ private sector experience.
• Professional account qualification and work experience in due diligence and audit preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Proven work experience in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Training in IPSAS.
• Excellent logical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
