Omo Bank invites interested and qualified applicants for the following job positions. Omo Microfinance is edging closer in its bid to transform into a bank. It's the third microfinance institution to make such a move, after Amhara and Oromia saving & credit institutions. The shareholders of the microfinance  suggested last week to change its name to Omo. Established 25 years ago with an  original capital of half a million Birr and four branch offices, the institution has total assets of 10.7 billion Br and a paid- up capital of 1.9 billion Br.  Omo was one of the five largest microfinance institutions in Ethiopia, along with Amhara, Oromia, Addis, and Dedebit. These institutions account for 82.6 pc of the total capital, 90pc of the savings, and 85.9 pc of the credit provided in the microfinance market. Omo mobilised over seven billion Birr in deposits last year, bringing its aggregate to 36 billion Br.

MO Bank would like to invite qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant posts.  

Position 1: Attorney II and I  

Required Qualification and Experience  

Education LLB Degree any other related fields.  

Experience 4 and 2 years of experience as attorney or legal aid.  

Place of Work Worabe and Hawassa Sidama District Offices for attorney II and Karat, Dilla, Jemu and Masha District offices for attorney I Positions  

Position 2: KYC Officer II and KYC Officer I  

Required Qualification and Experience  

Education BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, and any other related fields.  

Experience 4 and 2 years of Customer Accounts/ Service or original experience.  

Place of Work Head Office (Addis Ababa)  

Position 3: Manager- KYC Division  

Required Qualification and Experience  

Education MA/ BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, and any other related fields.  

Experience 8 Years Expereience in Banking, 3 Years Expereience as Head Customer Accounts Service Section or Equivalent.  

Place of Work Head Office (Addis Ababa)
