The Hawassa Industrial Park Investors Association (“ HIPIA ”) is an anon-profit-making organization that represents the investors working in the Hawassa Industrial Park in the city of Hawassa in Ethiopia.
It was incorporated in 2016 and has twenty-two members from India, Sri Lanka, China, Hong Kong, the United States of America, Ethiopia, France, Belgium, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
Among our members, we've three original and eighteen foreign suppliers to the European and American Textile and Apparel market.
Industrial Park Investors Association Vacancy
Position 1: Electrician
• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Position 2: Technician
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment( Mechanical).
• Repair and maintain electronic equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic faults( Electronics).
• Provide specialized support to users. Install and maintain computer systems and networks (IT).
Position 3: Production Supervisor
• Oversee and manage production operations.
• Ensure production targets are met on time and within budget.
• Monitor and improve production efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• Good English communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
• Strong logical and problem-solving skills. (Applicable to all positions)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. (Applicable to Production Supervisor)
• Knowledge of production planning and control techniques. (Applicable to Production Supervisor)
