Premier Switch SolutionsS.C. (PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks in Ethiopia. PSS is a consortium owned by six private banks i.e., Awash International Bank, Nib International Bank, United Bank, Berhan International Bank, Addis International Bank, and Cooperative Bank of Oromia. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared- switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state-of-the-art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking, and other payment channels and provide clearing of disbenefit/ Credit card transactions for the banks.  Currently, PSS has one vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualifications and required experience listed for this job opening.  

Position 1 Product and Business Development Officer II  

Qualification & Work Experience  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field from a recognized institution.  

• At least 4 years of applicable experience  

• Experience in business and product development, marketing, and public relations is preferable  

Description of Duties  

• Involve in the implementation of policies, procedures, and process documents for the Innovation and Business development functions.  

• Involve in the development of a range of innovative products and services.  

• Assist in the identification, approach, and establishment of business partnerships with implicit partners.  

• Assist in the development of market segmentation tools and provide specialized recommendations on positioning for each product.  

• Involve in products and services feasibility study, benchmark survey, customer satisfaction survey.  

• Involve in the creation of prototypes for new products to iron out flaws in the final design.  

• Involve in the development of research proposals to management for approval.  

• Conduct performance metrics.  

• Conduct cost analysis on the development of new products and services.  

• Involve in the marketing campaigns designed to inform people about new product/ service availability.  

• Monitor the performance of products, enhancements, and obsolescence.  

• Involve in the provision of specialized support on new product development launches in liaison with other applicable work units.  

• Involve in the budget preparation for the work unit.  

• Prepare periodic reports.  

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.  

Position 2 Senior IT Security Officer  

Qualification & Work Experience  

• Bachelor’s Degree in ICT/ Computer Science Information Systems/ Finance/ Business or a related field.  

• At least 5 years of applicable experience  

• Training in Information Systems Security, IT Security Management, and Cyber Security is preferable.  

Description of Duties  

• Involve in the development and implementation of programs and procedures for IT/ cyber security.  

• Implement and ensure information system confidentiality, integrity, and availability to meet the client's expectations.  

• Work with vendors for all support activities.  

• Involve in the delivery of IT security and other related projects.  

• Conduct periodic performance metrics.  

• Involve in the design of capacity planning and managing business continuity.  

• Lead maintenance, upgrade, and migration of security management systems.  

• Work with the applicable work units in the development of software, products, and services cleave with security standards.  

• Research new IT security standards and technologies.  

• Conduct an assessment of information security risk periodically as per PCI- DSS and other applicable standards.  

• Conduct periodic IT security audits and take remedial actions on findings.  

• Ensure and implement multi-layer security controls and review and update periodically including anti-virus,anti-malware, etc.  

• Manage the assessed functionality and gap analysis of crucial business areas and infrastructure and determine the extent to which compliance with statutory and nonsupervisory requirements and take applicable actions.  

• Ensure the business operation complies with the company policy, nonsupervisory bodies ’ laws, regulations, and standards including the National Bank of Ethiopia, PCI- DSS, etc.  

• Manage security incident response and process protocols including incident response reports and sanctions.  

• Involve in the budget preparation for the unit  

• Provide guidance and training to all staff and customers in the area of IT security and compliance.  

• Prepare periodic reports.  

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.  

Position 3 Senior Database Administrator  

Qualification & Work Experience  

• Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field  

• At least 5 years of experience in database administration  

• Training in Oracle Database.  

• expansive knowledge of database technologies, data security, and database architecture  

• Experience in Oracle database, Oracle RAC, and grid infrastructure management  Description of Duties  

• Implement policies, and procedures and write process documents for the database administration and lead in their implementation through nonstop review.  

• Execute the design, setup, installation, and integration of colorful databases to meet the business requirements and are compliant with PCI DSS and other applicable security standards.  

• Build highly available and stylish performing systems to meet the client's expectations.  

• Work with vendors for all database support activities.  

• Work with database vendors to apply fixes and issues that are logged to vendor portals.  

• Develop and implement procedures to ensure data integrity and quality are maintained.  

• Involve in different payment applications and other related projects.  

• Provide/ revoke users ’  honor and examiner user access management.  

• Conduct database tuning as per performance metrics.  

• Design, develop, and manage new and living business intelligence reports.  

• Manage and implement reporting systems.  

• Implement system capacity planning and business continuity.  

• Conduct database and log backup, restoration, archiving, and retention as per the policy and procedure regularly.  

• Investigate and analyze trace files.  

• Perform maintenance, upgrade, and migration of database and related systems.  

• Implement new database technologies and work with the applicable work units in the development of new products and services.  

• Work closely with the payment application work unit.  

• Perform end-of-day tasks  

• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring of employees within the unit toward effective career development.  

• Attend incidents, interruptions, malfunctions, and system quality reductions at any moment.  

• Prepare periodic reports  

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the administrator.
