Puagume Manufacturing Job Vacancy: We are an electro-mechanical design and manufacturing company based in Addis Ababa, delivering outstanding products and providing custom solutions for the problems we specialize in. We are building imported products and developing the economy through homegrown design and manufacturing.
We're currently working in the assiduity sector, providing custom machinery as customers place orders. We design and manufacture component body parts, conduct structural studies, and create electronic control components, as well as assemble and locally source products.
Position: Junior Accountant
Educational Background
• BA degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related fields.
Specialized Skills
• Introductory knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or Peachtree preferred).
• Understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts outstanding, and receivables.
Professional Attributes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic terrain.
Key Responsibilities
• Record diurnal financial transactions in accounting software and ledgers.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Reconcile bank statements and petty cash balances regularly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of all financial records.
• Assist in preparing yearly, daily, and periodic financial reports
• Support the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Assist with tax filing, payroll preparation, and statutory compliance.
• Provide necessary documents and support during internal or external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial recordkeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the finance manager.
