SAMANU PLC
SAMANU is a platform company with well-established brands operating in Ethiopia’s main FMCG sub-sectors (Tena Edible Oils, 555 and Aura Soap & Detergents, and Chef Luca wheat products).
Currently, SAMANU imports raw sunflower oil, mostly from Eastern Europe, and refines and packages it locally. With the new investment, it'll construct a solvent birth factory that will allow it to produce raw oil from locally grown sunflowers.
Position 1: Customer Service Officer
Education Qualifications and Requirements
First Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration from recognized institutions.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, sales or marketing
Location: Kality, Dukem
Position 2: Shift Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS: BSc degree with chemical engineering, food engineering/food science & technology, artificial chemistry and related fields.
Experience – 2-5 years at food manufacturing company
Location: Dukem
Position 3: Shift Mechanic
Job Skills & Qualifications
A BSC in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of related experience are required.
Diploma in manufacturing technology and general mechanics, 4 years of related experience required.
Experience within the food, vegetable oil, and beverage industry is preferred.
Attain and maintain required instruments.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including night shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Effectively work in a team environment.
Effective verbal and spoken communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to critical repairs

Position 4: Shift Electrician
Qualifications & Experience ·
Education Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, EMDI, or original qualification. ·
Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience as an industrial electrician in a nonstop-process manufacturing environment (preferably in vegetable oil refining, comestible oil processing, solvent extraction plants, food processing, or petrochemical/refinery sectors). ·
Proven experience working on high- and low-voltage systems, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and artificial utilities (boilers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, and generators). Specialized Skills & Knowledge ·
Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems, motor controls (star-delta, DOL, and VFDs), instrumentation loops, and artificial automation. ·
Familiarity with dangerous area classifications (e.g., Ex-rated equipment) and solvent-handling environments. ·
complete in reading electrical schematics, control drawings, and P&&ID's.
Experience with preventative maintenance of boilers, chillers, compressors, cooling halls, and diesel generators. ·
introductory understanding of PLCs, SCADA, and control systems (troubleshooting preferred). ·
Competence in using electrical testing and individual equipment.

Position 5: Senior Electrician
QUALIFICATIONS – BSC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering – 3 years related experience required. ·
Advanced Diploma in electrical machine drives and robotization. 5 years of related experience are needed.
Experience within the food, comestible oil painting, and libation diligence preferred.
Attain and maintain required certifications.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends and holidays, when demanded.
Effectively work in a platoon environment.
Effective verbal and spoken communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to critical repairs.
Must be suitable to pass pre-employment screens (including drug, background and felonious checks).
