Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital( ASRGH) was constructed in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia in 2017 in an echo of the “ Belt and Road Initiative ” by AFEI Holding. This 14-story, new state-of-the-art hospital is committed to enhancing China-Africa's unbreakable friendship and strengthening invention and practice to improve healthcare in Africa. This new facility is designed for patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Position 1: Environmental health unit officer

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or a related field
• Over 2 years of experience.

Position 3: Bio-Medical Engineering
Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform regular conservation and form of medical outfit.
• Troubleshoot and resolve specialized issues with biomedical devices.
• Ensure all medical outfit complies with safety standards and regulations.
Educational Qualification & Work Experience
• BSC in Bio-Medical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years experience
knowledge & Skill conditions
• Proven practical work experience in maintaining high-tech medical outfits and ministry,
• Advanced computer skills in maintenance’s and reading signals efficiently,
• Ability to work for longer hours prioritizing the life-tied environment and willing to spare weekends, nights, and public holidays when required,
• High professional ethics and value to handle resources for maximum utility,
• Self- starter, and
• Language Fluent in English( both oral & spoken)
Position 4: NICU Nurse
Duties & Responsibilities
• Providing round-the-clock care to unseasonable and oppressively ill-invigorated infants.
• Monitor and assess the condition of neonates in the NICU.
• Provide emotional and educational support to parents and families.
• Caring for the introductory requirements of infants; for example, feeding and changing diapers.
• Performing medical procedures; for example, inserting intravenous lines, performing tests, and administering medications.
• Assisting the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments.
Educational Qualification & Work Experience
• BSC in Nursing and certified.
• Minimum 2 years experience in NICU
Knowledge & Skill requirements
• Certificate in BLS and ACLS training.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have some computer skills.
• The ability to offer emotional support to parents, guardians, and family members.
• knowledge of NICU technical equipment
• The ability to work in a team.
• The ability to offer comfort to ill newborns.
• Language Fluent in English( oral & spoken)
Position 5: Adult ICU Nurse( Intensive Care Unit)
Duties & Responsibilities
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
• Operate and maintain life-support equipment, including ventilators and monitors.
• Assist doctors during medical procedures and emergencies.
• Educate and support patients’ families about care and recovery processes
•. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including covering vital signs, hemodynamic status, neurological function, and other critical parameters.
• Collaborate with the healthcare platoon to develop and implement personalized patient care plans, adjusting as demanded based on the case’s condition.
• Provide expert nursing interventions to manage complex medical conditions, including but not limited to, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and renal disorders.
• Anticipate, fete, and promptly respond to changes in patient condition, initiating applicable exigency measures as necessary.
Educational Qualification & Work Experience
• BSC in Nursing and certified.
• Minimum 2 years experience in ICU
Knowledge & Skill requirements
• instrument in Basic Life Support( BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support( ACLS) needed.( Optional)
• Proficiency in the use of advanced medical equipment and technology used in the ICU.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Position 6: Medical Laboratory Technologist
Duties & Responsibilities
• Collect, process, and analyze natural specimens( blood, urine, etc.).
• Perform routine and technical laboratory tests.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and report test results to healthcare providers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in the laboratory.
• Performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests in the areas of hematology, microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis
• Performs Conjunctive tar culture and corneal scraping smear examinations
• Performs regular microbiological surveillance of operation theatre
• Report test results following clinic protocols waking providers and/ or nurses about abnormal results.
• Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure applicable sampling, and maintain accurate record keeping.
• Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
Educational Qualification & Work Experience
• BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology and certified.
• Minimum 2 year experience
Knowledge & Skill requirements
• Certification in Basic Life Support( BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support( ACLS) required.( Optional)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to unite with the healthcare team.
• Knowledge of Technical Laboratory skills and workflow.
• Commitment to nonstop learning and professional development.
• Good communication and coordination skills
