Position 1 Child Protection and Gender- Based Violence Prevention( CP/ GBV) Coordinator
Major Responsibilities
Leads the medication of ongoing situation reports, periodic updates and analyses, by compiling and assaying data, and related information on overall IDP, returnees and philanthropic crisis in the target area, with a specific focus on child protection/ GBV, and prepare written inputs accordingly to inform effective program planning, development and management.
Conduct regular monitoring visits to intervention woredas to ensure the progress of project implementation on a good track and develop mechanisms to cover and evaluate the impact of the project implementation in different location, and insure learning is integrated into unborn program design.
Required Professional Experience
A minimum of five years experience in child protection, Gender- based violence and related areas, program/ design development and management in emergency context is required.
Proven experience in designing and implementing child protection and GBV trainings to a variety of stakeholders.
Direct case management and experience working with children, women and adolescents is an asset. Knowledge and experience on Gender Based Violence programming including prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse( PSEA) an asset.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
First degree in social work, sociology, psychology, child protection, public health and applicable fields of social sciences and five years of work experience or Masters degree in these fields and one year applicable work experience
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Knowledge and skills of and ability to implement integrated CP responses, including Gender Based Violence. Awareness of or interest in community based protection mechanisms.
Expansive training in the fields of CP/ GBV, psycho-social wellbeing, case management and application of international specialized guidelines and standards in Child Protection and GBV.

Position 2 Child Protection and Gender Based Violence Prevention Officer
Major Responsibilities

Undertakes regular protection service delivery for vulnerable women, girls and children to recover from the traumatized experiences caused by conflict and forced displacement.

Assist the project officer in situational assessment, functional planning, implementation and monitoring of the IDP activities.
Provide individual and group cerebral first aid/ sickie-social support to children and women affected by the conflict to enable them restore their safety, quality and hope.
Required Professional Experience
At least one- year applicable experience in child protection and related areas,
Knowledge and experience on Gender Based Violence programming an asset.

Major Responsibilities
