Position M- PESA Trade Development Representative  

Required Education and Skills 

A minimum BA Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Sales, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, and related fields. 

A minimum of 1 year of experience in digital marketing, sales, and IT. 

Work experience in fields related to mobile money marketing is an advantage. 

Applicants shall speak the indigenous language (s) of the places they apply to and also understand the culture, norms, and society in that particular city/ town. 

Applicants should also be able to speak, write, read, and communicate freely in the English language. To succeed in this role, you should have experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You'll use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with Merchant, from first contact until you close the deal. You'll also be requiring ensuring proper visibility and branding of the services and products. We’d like to meet you if you're motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment. Ultimately, you'll boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.  

Other Skills 

Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, or similar role 

Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques( including cold calls) 

Track record of achieving deal quotas 

Familiarity with Digital  knowledge and MS Excel( analyzing spreadsheets and maps) 

Understanding of sales performance metrics 

Excellent communication and negotiation skills 

Technology friendly 

Presentable  particular appearance 

Excellent Communication skills  

Team Player  

Ability to maintain favorable relations with customers and fellow employees.
