Aggar MFI is the pioneering marketable private microfinance institution established under proclamation No. 40/96, which has now been superseded by proclamation No. 626/2009. Its mission is to cater to the “missing middle” by offering credit and savings services in both civic and pastoral regions of the country. 
The founders aimed to fulfill both social and profitability goals. Aggar was initiated by 443 shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr. At present, the number of shareholders has increased to over 750, with the paid-up capital exceeding 200 million and total assets surpassing 410 million. 
Aggar Micro Finance S.C. is seeking to hire good professionals for the following vacant positions:

Position 1: Accountant 

Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting or Related Field 
Work Experience: 2 years of applicable experiences 
Qty 10 
Expected Competency (Skills required) 
Good knowledge of accounting concepts and principles. 
Considerable knowledge of logical methods and techniques. 
Ability to prepare  fiscal statements and reports 
Core banking skill is obligatory. 
Considerable knowledge of microfinance business is another. 
NB—Microsoft Office particularly excels, and word skills are obligatory. 
Work experience must be verified and presented in writing while registering.

Position 2: Senior IT Auditor 

Qualification: BA Degree in accounting/business administration & information systems or related field 
Work Experience: 4 years of applicable experience, 2 of which are in the IT area. 
Expected Competency (Skills Required) 
Comprehensive knowledge of auditing and accounting principles and practices 
Thorough knowledge of  fiscal laws and audit regulations 
Ability to analyze financial statements 
Good knowledge of microfinance business 
Basic computer application skill 
NB—Microsoft Office particularly excels, and word skills are obligatory.

Position 3: Senior Graphic Designer & Digital Marketing Specialist/Officer 

Qualification: BA Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Management, Communication, IT, or affiliated field 
Work Experience: 4 years of applicable experience in affiliated positions. 
Anticipated Competency (Skills Required) 
Proven experience in graphic design & digital marketing 
Proficiency in design software  similar to Adobe family (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop Premiere) 
Experience with social media management tools and digital advertising platforms 
Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines 
NB—Microsoft Office particularly excels, and word skills are obligatory. 
Work experience must be verified and presented in writing while registering.

Position 4: Director, Marketing, Branding & PR 

Qualification: MA/BA Degree in economics/marketing or related field 
Work Experience: 7/9 Years of applicable experience, 3 of which at the directorial Level in banks or microfinance institutions 
Expected Competency (Skills Required) 
Broad knowledge of overall business in Financial Institutions 
Deep knowledge of marketing, PR functions, and branding is very important. 
Experience in designing and executing marketing campaigns across colorful channels. 
Positioning the brand effectively in the market to differentiate it from competitors. 
Skill in managing public relations strategies and media relations to enhance brand reputation. 
NB – Microsoft Office particularly excels, and Word skill is mandatory. 
Work experience must be verified and presented in writing while registering.
