Driver

VisionFund Micro Finance Institution(S.C) is an Institution established according to proclamationNo.40/96 to provide financial services to the productive poor in the  pastoral and civic areas of Ethiopia. VisionFund is currently operating in four of the Regional States of the country.  VisionFund MFI is currently looking candidates to fill the following vacancies for batch recruitment for Driver role. The successful candidates will have skills and experience that meet the ensuing requirements  

Position Driver I  

Job Requirements  

• Grade 10 Complete 3rd Grade driving License & 2 years of applicable experience  

• Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic rules.  

• introductory knowledge of auto mechanic.  

• Ability to conduct security checks and  examination on vehicles.  • Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs.  

• Interpersonalskill.Terms of Employment endless  

Major Responsibilities

Safety

• To safely drive vehicles to transport personnel and good;  

• Conducts vehicle security checks  similar as brakes, tires, lights, horn and other necessary accessories before driving vehicle;  

• Places protection padding around goods and materials to prevent damage during transit.  Operation  

• Drives vehicle to transport personnel and goods to destination;

• Takes all  preventative measures to ensure that passengers and property aren't exposed to accident;  

• Submits diurnal report on mileages covered, fuel consumption and other necessary details;  • Ensures the safety of accessories and tools  

• Reports road accidents to supervisor in timely bases within 24 hours;  

Maintenance  

• Performs minor repairs  similar as changing tires, installing light bulbs, spark plugs and fan belts.  • Washes, cleans and greases assigned vehicle;  

• Follows up and arranges the service and maintenance of assigned vehicle;
