Position 1: Cashier 

Required Qualifications and Experience 
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institution. 
Strong numerical and communication skills. 
Introductory knowledge of counting principles and fiscal reporting. 
Ability to handle deals directly and responsibly. 
Customer service-oriented attitude. 
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 
Proficiency in introductory computer operations( e.g., Microsoft Office). 
Key Responsibilities 
Receive payments from patients and clients in cash, credit, or other forms. 
Issue receipts, refunds, and changes to customers accurately. 
Maintain accurate cash drawer records and reconcile balances at the end of the shift. 
Prepare diurnal cash reports and submit them to the finance department. 
Ensure that all financial transactions are conducted securely and confidentially. Assist in billing and invoicing processes when required. 
Respond to patient and customer inquiries politely and professionally. 
Support other administrative tasks as assigned.

Position 2: Senior Accountant 

Required Qualifications and Experience 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA qualification is a plus. 
Experience 3 to 8 years of applicable account experience, preferably in a healthcare or service-related industry. 
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws,  fiscal reporting standards, and accounting principles. 
complete in accounting software( e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel. 
Excellent logical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
High attention to detail and accuracy. 
Ability to work independently and in a team. 
 
Job Summary 
Axon Neurology Specialty Center PLC is seeking an educated and detail-oriented elderly Accountant to oversee and manage the company’s financial records, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions, as well as supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting. 
Key Responsibilities 
Prepare and review financial statements in agreement with GAAP/ IFRS. 
Manage accounts outstanding and delinquent processes. 
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and company accounts. 
Maintain the general ledger and oversee journal entries. 
Prepare yearly, daily, and periodic financial reports. 
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. 
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial deals. 
Support the perpetration of financial controls and procedures. 
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government representatives as necessary.
