Bilal Microfinance InstitutionS.C. is a full-fledged interest-free microfinance institution established based on the NBE Directive No. MFI/32/2021 to provide sharia biddable and inclusive microfinance services that provide access to the community barred from financial services due to interest.  

Position 1 Facility Officer  

EDUCATION/ TRAINING 

BA degree in Management or related or.  

EXPERIENCE 

A minimum of 1 year of experience. The purpose of the Facility Officer position is to plan, organize, coordinate, and control the activities of the general services. S/ he ensures that all facility and support services are provided to different work units of the Institution.  

Specialized AND OTHER SKILLS 

  • Integrated knowledge and understanding of support services concepts, practices, systems, and procedures; 
  • Ability to interact and deal with people; 
  • Planning, organizational,  logical, and decision-making skills; 
  • Basic computer skills;  
  • Good written and oral communication skills.  

Position 2 Accountant  EDUCATION/ TRAINING

B.A. Degree in Accounting or original education and work experience.  

EXPERIENCE 

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience.  
  • Specialized AND OTHER SKILLS 
  • Well-organized and able to act professionally and ethically; 
  • Good skills in the use of computers; 
  • Communication and presentation skills.  

Position 3 Administrative Secretary  

EDUCATION/ TRAINING 

  • Degree in Secretarial Science and Office Management or original combination of education and work experience.  

EXPERIENCE 

A minimum of 4 years of work experience as a secretary.  

Specialized AND OTHER SKILLS  

  • complete in computer skills( MS word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet browsing skills; 
  • Good written and spoken English language;  
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; 
  • Ability to communicate information accurately.  

Position 4 Senior Risk Management Officer  

EDUCATION/ TRAINING

B.A. degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, or original combination of education and work experience.  

EXPERIENCE  

  • A minimum of 6 years of applicable experience.  

Specialized AND OTHER SKILLS 

  • Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote a team approach to enhance staff commitment to successfully  apply the Institution’s Strategic Plan; 
  • Interest-free banking and  introductory Shariah knowledge 
  • Demonstrated specialized and  directorial ability, sound judgment, and ability to interact and work effectively with others in all  situations; 
  • Good abstract understanding of the participatory approach and sustainable development; 
  • Firm belief in teamwork and gender equality; 
  • Basic computer skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.  

Position 5 Senior Saving and Financing Officer  

EDUCATION/ TRAINING 

B.A. degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, or original combination of education and work experience.

Position 6 Human Resource Senior Officer  

EDUCATION/ TRAINING

  • Integrated knowledge and understanding of  mortal resources concepts, practices, systems, and procedures; 
  • Core banking knowledge/ Peachtree accounting 
  • Ability to interact and deal with people; 
  • Excellent planning, organizational,  logical, and decision-making skills;

Position 7 General Accounts Senior Officer  

EDUCATION/ TRAINING 

  • B.A. degree in Accounting or original education and work experience.  

EXPERIENCE 

A minimum of 6 years of applicable experience preferably in Microfinance or bank.  

Specialized AND OTHER SKILLS 

  • Good planning, organizational,  logical, and decision-making skills; 
  • Well-organized and able to act professionally and ethically; 
  • Good skills in the use of computers; 
  • Good communication and presentation skills.  

Position 8 Internal Audit Service Head  

Experience/ Training 

MA/B.A. Degree in Accounting  

Experiences 

  • 6/7 years of experience in internal auditing, of which 4 years in an administrative position.  
  • Specialized Skills Interest-free banking and Basic knowledge of Shariah 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coach staff in prioritizing workload whilst maintaining a high standard of work; 
  • Fluency in English language and written communication; 
  • Demonstrated specialized and  directorial ability, sound judgment, and ability to work effectively with others at all levels; 

Computer skills.  

Position 9 Manager, IT and Marketing Department  

Experience/ Training 

MSc/ BSc Degree in Computer Science/ Information Science or original combination of education and work experience.  

Experiences 

  • A minimum of7/8 years of applicable experience.  

Specialized and Other Skills 

  • LAN administration experience. 
  • Core banking 
  • Interest-free banking and Basic knowledge of Shariah 
  • Proficiency in Computer applications. 
  • Excellent spoken and written English. 
  • suitable to work in a team environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coach staff.  

Position 10 Director, Microfinance Operation  

Experience/ Training 

  • MA/ MSc. orB.A. degree in, Economics, Management, Accounting or original combination of education and work experience  

Experiences 

  • A minimum of7/8 years of experience, out of which 4 years in directorial position, preferably in MFI.  
  • Specialized and Other Skills Interest-free banking and Basic knowledge of Shariah 
  • Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote a team approach to enhance staff commitment to successfully implement the Institution’s Strategic Plan; 
  • Demonstrated specialized and  directorial ability, sound judgment, and ability to interact and work effectively with others in all  situations;
