Position Communication Specialist

Skills, Experience & Education

First Degree in Journalism/ English Language & Literature/ Public Relations or related field of studies with a minimum of 3 years applicable experience in Public Affairs & Communication with strong experience in written & verbal communication, government relation and liaison, and media relations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the company social media networks, update and monitor regularly;

• laboriously engage media to enhance commercial reputation;

• Lead documentation of company events and major interventions as well as send updates to different internal and external stakeholders;

• Compile, design and dispatch internal communication materials, including newsletters, factsheets, news clips,etc.

• Compile weekly socio- political update and monitor media on a regular base

• Support Regulatory Affairs manager in engaging government stakeholders to build positive image.

• Draft and send out press releases to media houses.

• Manage media inquiries and arrange interviews, statementsetc.

• Support and estimate results of communication campaigns with the team.

• Plan and organise company events and media briefings,
