Deborah Foundation is a registerednon-profit organization with a mission to ameliorate the lives of children with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities through support in the areas of health Education, and Policy Advocacy, It's Established in 2019. Deborah Foundation invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.
Position 1: Office secretory
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Proven proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Affan Oromo, Amharic, and English
Proven ability to handle largely sensitive and nonpublic information with the utmost discretion
Exceptional verbal and spoken communication skills in all three languages
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability tomulti-task and meet deadlines
complete in the use of office equipment, software, and technology, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications
Excellent problem- solving and decision- making skills, with a results- oriented mindset
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive, professional manner
Attention to detail and a high position of accuracy in all work
client service- acquainted mindset with a friendly and helpful address
Flexibility and adaptability to handle colorful tasks and changing priorities
Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues
Position 2: Fundraising and Research expert
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a applicable field
Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, donor relations, or resource development
Proven track record of securing significant gifts and grants from a different range of funding sources
Excellent research, logical, and data- driven decision- making skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft compelling fundraising materials
complete in the use of donor database software, research tools, and other applicable technologies
Passion for the association’s charge and a commitment to sustainability and growth
Position 3: Web and Social Media Officer
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree computer science or related field
Minimum 1 years of experience in website management, social media marketing, and digital content creation
complete in using a variety of content management systems, social media platforms, and digital analytics tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective digital content
Strong logical and problem- working skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data- driven decisions
cooperative mindset and the ability to work effectively withcross-functional teams
Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to leveraging digital channels to drive impact
