Dodai Manufacturing Plc( Dodai), is a recently incorporated organization launched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on August 01, 2023. Dodai is a fast-growing organization with a mission of making e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services. 

Dodai plans to give brand new electric two-wheelers by assembling them here in Addis Ababa and plans to expand to major indigenous cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2024. It’s thus looking to engage dynamic Ethiopian talent to ensure the achievement of its goals. 

Position 1: Junior Sales Associate 

Job Description 
The Junior Sales Associates will be an essential part of the Dodai Sales Team. S/ He's expected to work with the sales team to ensure Dodai’s sales targets are met and the Dodai products have a positive image in the request. S/ he is responsible for making Dodai’s product most desirable in the request. 

Responsibilities 
 • Engage with implicit customers in our showroom, providing detailed information on our E2Ws and helping them make an informed purchase. 
 • Generate and cultivate sales leads by conducting request visits on the ground, while regularly updating the customer and prospect database. 
 • Develop and maintain knowledge of our product range to accurately answer customer inquiries and provide a high level of service. 
 • Achieve particular and team sales targets. 
 • Provide after-sales support and handle customer complaints or concerns. 
 • Maintain customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting our brand. 
 • Work closely with the Sales Manager and other team members to ensure showroom standards are maintained and sales targets are met. 
 • Prepare and present diurnal reports on sales results and activities to the Sales Manager, including leads generated, closed sales, follow-up activities, and sales targets achieved. 
 • Contribute to the team effort by participating in sales meetings, training programs, and learning about new product developments. 
 • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image to customers and the company. 

Qualifications 
 • BA degree in business management, marketing, Economics, or a related field 
 • 1- 3 years of professional sales experience, preferably in the automotive or BtoC retail sector with products with  fairly high value(  100,000 ETB or above) 
 • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
 • Result-oriented and  suitable for working in a fast-paced environment 
 • Must be willing to work 6 days a week on shift 
 • Ignorance in English and Amharic 
 • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing 
 • Strong passion for serving customers 

Preferred Skills 
 • Ride motorbikes or electric bikes 
 • Track record of over-achieving sales quota 
 • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks 

Position 2: Junior Showroom Assistant 

Purpose of the Position 
 • We're looking for a friendly and professional Showroom Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our valued customers. You'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and instructional environment for visitors while providing executive support to ensure the showroom runs smoothly. 

Responsibilities 
 1. Professional Visitor Engagement and Management 
 o Welcome all visitors with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression of the showroom. 
 o Understand the requirements of each visitor to accurately direct them to the applicable salesperson or department, optimizing the customer journey and effectiveness. 
 2. Communication Handling 
 o Answer and manage incoming calls with courtesy, directing queries and messages accurately to ensure smooth communication and operations. 
 o Stay informed about current campaigns, volume discounts, and promotional conditions to directly respond to client inquiries about products, providing accurate information to assist their buying decisions. 
 o Continuously update and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, including details, specifications, and benefits. 
 3. Exchange conservation 
 o Ensure the reception and showroom areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing, maintaining an environment that reflects the brand’s standards. 
 o Keep promotional materials and brochures well-stocked and accessible to visitors, supporting marketing efforts. 
 4. Administrative and Sales Support 
 o Schedule appointments and manage the showroom calendar to optimize the time of sales personnel, enhancing functional flow. 
 o Assist in the processing of essential documentation,  similar to agreements and customer information forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures. 
 o Support the sales team with colorful executive tasks, including data entry and preparation of sales documentation, to enhance the effectiveness of sales operations. 
 o Gain a thorough understanding of the sales process to better support sales activities and customer engagement. 
 5. Financial Transactions 
 o Handle transactions using the cash register, ensuring accuracy in the receipt and processing of payments. 
 6. Digital Record Keeping 
 o Diligently record all customer engagements on the internal digital platform, ensuring that data is accurate and up-to-date for flawless follow-up and analysis. 
 7. directorial Direction 
 o Perform fresh tasks and responsibilities as directed by the manager to meet evolving business requirements and support exchange operations. 

Qualifications 
 • Degree in any field. 
 • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or reception role( retail experience a plus). 
 • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from different backgrounds. 
 • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.

Position 3: Junior Graphic Designer 

Purpose of the Position 
 The Junior Graphic Designer at Dodai is responsible for creating high-quality visual content, including videos, images, and graphics, to support our marketing and branding enterprise. As well as working with other departments in the association to ensure the achievement of the company’s mission.

Qualifications 
 • Experience 
 o 1 – 2 years of experience in graphic design, video production, or related fields. 
 o Experience working with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite( Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.). 
 • Skills 
 o Strong design chops with a keen eye for detail, composition, and aesthetics. 
 o Proficiency in video editing and production, including familiarity with camera equipment. 
 o Strong photo editing and retouching skills using tools like Lightroom or Photoshop. 
 Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
 o Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
 o Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends and technologies. 

Preferred Skills 
 o Knowledge of motion graphics or animation using tools like After Effects. 
 o Experience with digital marketing platforms and understanding of social media content requirements.

Position 4: Content Creator 

Purpose of the Position 
 • The Content Creator at Dodai is responsible for creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience and driving supereminent generation through digital and traditional initiatives. This role involves conceptualizing, planning, and distributing content across colorful platforms, as well as collaborating with internal and external teams to align with marketing goals.

 Key Responsibilities 
 • Content Creation 
 o Conceptualize and develop high-quality content, including social media posts, and videos targeting the demographic for our products. 
 o Coordinate and implement projects with 3rd party content creators and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. 
 o Write clear, engaging copy for multiple platforms, ensuring it aligns with Dodai’s brand voice and messaging. 
 • Lead Generation 
 o Take ownership of creating and enforcing content strategies that generate leads to meet yearly sales targets for Dodai’s products. 
 o Suggest and implement digital and traditional campaigns to boost supereminent generation. 
 o Continuously analyze content effectiveness and refine strategies to optimize supereminent conversion rates. 

Content Calendar 
 o Plan, manage, and modernize the content calendar to ensure harmonious content delivery. 
 o Coordinate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing goals. 
 • Content Distribution and optimization 
 o Share content on colorful platforms, including all social media platforms, and the company website. 
 o Monitor content performance and make adjustments as needed. 
 • Collaboration 
 o Collaborate with the design and brand teams to create visually charming and engaging content. 
 o Participate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing team to develop innovative content ideas. 
 • Tracking and reporting 
 o Track and report results of all digital and traditional campaigns on  a diurnal, daily, and yearly basis 
 o Suggest data-driven initiatives based on data collected. 
 o Prepare detailed reports to inform the marketing team and leadership on the impact of content initiatives. 

Qualifications 
 1. Education & Experience 
 o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field( preferred but not mandatory). 
 o Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, social media, videos, graphics, etc.). 
 2. Specialized Skills 
 o Proficiency in content management systems( CMS)  similar to WordPress, Joomla, or analogous. 
 o Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite( Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.), Canva, or other content design tools. 
 o Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to written and visual content. 
 o Knowledge of social media platforms and their algorithms( Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.). 
 o Experience with video editing software or apps( e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or mobile alternatives). 
 3. Creativity & Communication 
 o Strong creative writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and tone. 
 o Ability to produce content that's engaging,  instructional, and aligned with brand voice. 
 o Excellent verbal and spoken communication skills. 
 4. Analytical Skills 
 o Ability to analyze content performance through analytics tools( e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) and optimize content accordingly. 
 o Data-driven approach to improving content engagement and reach. 

Position 5: Direct Sales Team Lead 

Purpose of the Position 
 The Direct Sales Team Lead at Dodai is vital in achieving our ambitious target of 500e-motorbike sales to consumers and SMEs in Addis Ababa in 2024. This role is responsible for spearheading the direct sales initiatives by effectively hiring & managing both sales representatives and showroom staff. Crucial responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client connections, actively prospecting new leads, securing sales, and devising targeted strategies to enhance the visibility and appeal of Dodai products. The platoon Lead will also ensure a cohesive effort with other departments to align with and promote Dodai’s strategic goals and mission, thereby fostering a positive representation of the company in the market. 

Responsibilities 
 1. Customer Experience and Engagement 
 to ensure exemplary client service and maintain a professional exchange terrain that meets transnational norms as well as Dodai brand norms. 
 o Promote punctuality and professional presentation among team members to enhance customer trust and reflect Dodai’s quality. 
 o Regularly train staff on customer engagement and maintaining a neat appearance to ensure a unified and professional representation of the Dodai brand. 
 2. Sales Leadership and Team Management 
 o Drive the team towards the goal of 500 sales to consumers and SMEs in Addis Ababa in 2024, using motivational leadership, targeted training, and precise sales strategies. 
 o Foster accountability, set clear sales targets, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching. 
 3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting 
 o Implement diurnal tracking and digital reporting of sales conditioning and customer interactions to assess team performance and acclimatize strategies. 
 o Compile and present digital reports detailing sales progress and data insights. 
 4. Brand Advocacy 
 o Lead sales lead generation and community engagement to broaden the customer base and enhance brand visibility. 
 o Ensure team alignment with the Dodai brand’s mission, promoting the brand actively in the marketplace. 
 5. Cross-functional collaboration and directorial Directives 
 o Work with other departments to ameliorate sales strategies, integrate customer feedback and enhance product offerings. 
 o Respond to management directives promptly, adapting strategies and operations to evolving business requirements. 

Qualifications 
 • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field. 
 • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in direct sales, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets, preferably in a leadership role within the automotive or technology sectors. 
 • Expertise in direct sales techniques and the management of sales teams. 
 • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team towards meeting ambitious sales goals. 
 • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to foster strong customer connections and promote team cohesion. 
 • Commitment to providing top-notch customer service, with a passion for coaching team members to exceed in customer interactions and sales performance.
