East Africa Specialized Engineering, PLC is a subsidiary of Africa Specialized Engineering, B.V., a Netherland based engineering firm specializing in providing unique and tailor made construction solutions that optimize existing and new construction projects. Since the early 1950s, there have been considerable advances in the “ art ” and “ science ” of structural designs and construction through the use of better structural materials, refined knowledge of structural design processes and construction technologies and methodologies. utmost of these advances, however, remain underutilized in colorful corridor of Africa.  EASE hopes to bridge this gap through the delivery of advanced design and construction services to our clients.  

Position 1: Senior Architect of Business Development  

Scope and Genera purpose (Job summary) 

  • We're looking for an ambitious and energetic architect of business development to help us expand our clientele. You'll be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. 
  • The goal is to drive sustainable fiscal growth through Boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.  
  • Major challenges in doing this job 
  • Search for and secure profitable project to meet targeted sales volume for the year. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop a growth strategy concentrated both on fiscal gain and customer satisfaction 
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and client needs 
  • Arrange business meeting with prospective customers  
  • Promote the company’s product/ service addressing or predicting customer objectives 
  • Prepare sale contracts ensure adherence to law- established rules and guidelines  
  • Keep record of sale, revenue, invoice etc.  
  • Provide secure feedback and after- sales support Build long- term relationships with new and living customers 
  • Develop entry level staff into precious salespeople  

Requirement 

  • Require to have education background in engineering, preferable in architecture   
  • Proven working experience in business development, sales executive or relevant role 
  • Must have minimum 7 to 10 years of experience 
  • Experience in customer support is plus 

Market knowledge 

  • proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. sales force) 
  • proficiency in English 

Market knowledge

  • Supervise the MEP works done by outsourced companies.  

Qualification 

  • Senior architect with 10 years experience that can also manage or supervise the MEP works done by outsourced companies.  

Position 2: General Manager  

Job Purpose 

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and  functional oversight of HUBBITs working space solutions located in Addis Ababa, Bole Bulbula Bolesub-city woreda 12. The role requires strategic planning, functional efficiency, community  structure, and financial management to drive the growth and sustainability of the coworking space.

Qualifications  

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Hospitality, Technology or related fields.  
  • Technology Proficiency Familiarity with coworking management software, CRM systems, social media platforms and other tools vital for work.  

Experience 

  • Minimum of 2- 4 years of experience for Masters Degree and 4- 6 for Bachelor Degree in a leadership or management role, preferably in coworking spaces, shared office management, Hotel, real estate, hospitality, or startup ecosystems. 
  • Strong experience in community building, customer service, and relationship management. 
  • Experience working with Private Sector and diversified work environment. 
  • Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.

  • Good understanding of the startup, entrepreneurial, and innovation ecosystem, particularly within the Ethiopian or African context. 
  • Experience building relationships with incubators, accelerators, investors, and entrepreneurial hubs.

Educational Background 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Transportation Engineering, Marketing and relate fileds 
  • Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering Management, Mobility Engineering) or an MBA is often preferred for advanced leadership responsibilities. (voluntary) 
  • Specialized courses or certifications in mobility solutions,  independent vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs), or smart transportation infrastructure are salutary.  

Professional Experience 

  • 8- 10 years of experience in the mobility sector, with a proven track record of leadership in engineering projects. 
  • Experience working in electric mobility, independent vehicle technologies, or transportation infrastructure is highly desirable. 
  • Demonstrated ability to managemulti-disciplinary teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and oversee engineering projects from concept to implementation. 
  • Experience in project operation and leading large- scale mobility or engineering  enterprise, ensuring alignment with specialized, fiscal, and customer requirements.  

Position 4: Project Manager  

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage projects to ensure on- time delivery within scope and budget 
  • Collaborate with consultants and designers to meet required standards 
  • Develop and oversee project budgets, examiner charges, maintain quality, and meet client expectations 
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders 
  • Identify implicit risks and develop strategies for successful project completion  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in construction technology & management or Civil engineering  

Experience 

  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience for BSC and 10 years for MSC with at least 7 years as a project manager in large- scale building projects. 

Skills 

  • expansive knowledge of building construction process from design to completion 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage & motivate teams 
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time & within budget 
  • Knowledge of recent planning, design and other construction software’s
