Job Requirements  

IV Qualifications  

Required 

• BA Degree in Disaster Management or International Development or related field of study 
• 4 years of applicable experience with the first degree or 3 years of applicable experience plus a post-graduate degree in emergency programming, disaster management, pastoral livelihood programs, food security interventions, agriculture, and/ or cash and program management 
• Proficiency in verbal and spoken English, proposal development, strategic and  functional planning, budget planning and  operation, monitoring and evaluation, report writing 
• Proficiency in standard office software package 
• Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire and empower others. 
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to effectively liaise with government, community leaders, and other stakeholders.

• Knowledgeable in participatory planning

Position  2 Humanitarian Program Manager – WASH  

Job Requirements  IV.

Qualifications  

Required 

• BA degree in Water Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Disaster Management, or a related field from an accredited academic institution. 
• 6- 8 years of related work experience of which 2- 3 years of management experience 
• Solid experience gained in WASH in emergency programming,  fiscal and executive management including practical experience in implementation of complex water force systems. 
• Experience in writing and budgeting project proposals rather for NGOs. 
• Understanding the importance of gender, youth, and social inclusion 
• Demonstrated commitment to principles of gender, equity, diversity, inclusion, and PSHEA (safeguarding) through former positions or programming experience. 

Experience and ability to travel and work flexibly.
