Ethio-Life continued to be the ONLY specialized company in the life insurance business in the Ethiopian insurance industry until August 2012 In consideration of the immense potential and viability of the general insurance business emanating from the rapid-fire profitable growth of the country, shareholders of Ethio-Life were determined to expand the service of the company by includingNon-life( general) insurance products into its business portfolio. 

Position 1: Senior Planning & Business Development Officer 

The following additional competencies & abilities are required- 
 • Good knowledge of insurance business concepts and principles 
 • Good knowledge of company core business policies and principles 
 • Good knowledge of  threat assessment techniques 
 • Ability to collect and analyze applicable data 
 • Handles queries from customers on policy terms, conditions, and exceptions; 
 • Conducts market assessment and-risk and post risk surveys; 
 • Considerable knowledge of the insurance industry and the overall business and economic environment 
 • Good knowledge of planning, performance monitoring and evaluation, and research methods 
 • Good knowledge of marketing principles and practices 
 • Considerable ability of commercial policy development 
 • Good knowledge of the insurance business 
 • Good knowledge of Finance and accounting principles and practices 
 • Good knowledge of company  fiscal policy and procedures including  fiscal laws and regulations 
 • Good knowledge of generating financial reports 
 • Verifies the accuracy of completed accounting and financial transactions 
 • Reviews source and supporting documents' accuracy, completeness, reliability, and compliance with established policies, guidelines, systems, and procedures; 
 • Good interpersonal relations and  logical skills 
 • reliable & Team Player 

QualificationBA/ BSC/ LLB Degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Law, or other related fields of study from a recognized University. 
Experience A minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in Insurance on branch operation.

Position 2: Senior Accountant 

The following additional competencies & abilities are required- 
 • Good knowledge of insurance business concepts and principles

 • Good knowledge of risk assessment techniques 
 • Ability to collect and analyze applicable data 
 • Handles queries from customers on policy terms, conditions, and exceptions;

Position 3: Senior Underwriting & Branch Operation Officer 

The following  fresh competencies & abilities are required- 
 • Good knowledge of insurance business concepts and principles 
 • Good knowledge of the company's core business  programs and principles 
 • Good knowledge of  threat assessment  ways 
 • Capability to collect and  dissect applicable data 
 • Handles queries from  guests on policy terms, conditions, and exceptions; 
 • Conducts  request assessment and-risk and post  threat  checks; 
 • Considerable knowledge of insurance assiduity and the overall business and  profitable  terrain 
 • Good knowledge of planning, performance monitoring evaluation, and  exploration  styles 
 • Good knowledge of marketing principles and practices 
 • Considerable capability of commercial policy development 
 • Good knowledge of the insurance business 
 • Good knowledge of Finance and  counting principles and practices 
 • Good knowledge of company  fiscal policy and procedures including financial laws and regulations 
 • Good knowledge of generating financial reports 
 • Verifies the accuracy of completed accounting and financial transactions 
 • Reviews source and supporting documents' accuracy, completeness, reliability, and compliance with established policies, guidelines, systems, and procedures; 
 • Good interpersonal relations and  logical skills
