Position 1: Senior Technical Expert II- Lab Expert
Required Qualification, Competencies and Experience A minimum of MSc degree in seed science & technology, Plant Science, Agronomy, Applied biology or a related field. A minimum of 8 years applicable experience in seed testing or laboratory management with a proven track record of compliance with ISTA standards in seed sampling, seed proficiency testing, and accreditation. Advanced knowledge of ISTA Lab. accreditation procedures, ISTA seed sampling and testing protocols Advanced knowledge in identifying and categorizing colorful seed species, conducting physical purity tests, noxious weed content examinations, and germination assessments
Experience in setting up of seed testing laboratory outfit and sustainable management of laboratories. sharing in international seed quality testing training especially ISTA certificate is an added value.
Strong set of particular values including integrity, honesty, and desire to be of service.
Good knowledge of computer and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English and Amharic, and knowledge of the indigenous language is an advantage

Position 2: Senior Technical Expert- II Focal Person
Required Qualification, Competencies and Experience
MSc degree in Agriculture( plant science), agronomy, and Agri business or a related field. A minimum of 8 years proven applicable experience in agrarian project management, seed quality assurance, seed policy development and implementation. Proven experience of project management as well as liaising with elderly decision- makers.
Strong logical, communication, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with the Ethiopian agrarian sector and seed policies is essential.
Strong capabilities in problem solving, project and stakeholder management with expansive experience with government institutions, development partners, private sector, and actors.
Strong set of particular values including integrity, honesty, and desire to be of service.
Computer logical and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English and Amharic, and knowledge of the indigenous language is an advantage

Position 3: Senior communication officer
Required Qualification, Competencies, and Experience Bachelor or Master degree in communication, Public Relations, Journalism, and related fields with 6 years for Bachelor or 4 years for Master degree of applicable experience.
Experience in designing and implementing communication strategies and interventions for donor- funded projects. In- depth knowledge of the Ethiopian media landscape, artistic nuances, and communication trends.
Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement strategies and experience in building and maintaining relationships with different stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and spoken communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content for different platforms and audiences.
Proficiency in using colorful communication tools and technologies, including social media platforms, content management systems, and media monitoring tools.
Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure communication performance and make data- driven decisions.
Desire to improve the lives of smallholder farmers.
Fluency in oral and spoken English and Amharic.
Other original language is a plus.
