Position: Clearing and Reconciliation Officer I
Qualifications: BA in Accounting, Economics, Management or related fields of studies
Experience is an advantage.
The Clearing Officer I is responsible for completing daily settlement processes to follow system rules, creating Net Settlement Instructions (NSIs) for current and upcoming settlements based on transaction types, and making reports on switching fees for the finance team.
The role also includes executing reconciliation operations using the EthioRecon tool, preparing and sharing unsettled transaction reports with member financial institutions, and generating diurnal reports on successful transactions and end-of-day status for management. Additionally, the officer produces periodic and ad hoc reports for stakeholders while performing other assigned duties as necessary.
