Alliance of International Science Organizations( ANSO)  

The Alliance of International Science Organizations( ANSO) is anon-profit transnational association  innovated in 2018. launching members include 37 scientific institutions, universities, and  transnational associations worldwide. ANSO aims to ameliorate indigenous and global capacity in  wisdom and technology,  mortal livelihoods and good, and to promote broader S&T cooperation and communication.  

The ANSO Scholarship for Young bents( hereinafter appertained to as the ANSO Education) was formally launched in 2019 with the  thing of training and cultivating  youthful scientists from  each over the world. The ANSO Education supports 200 Master’s  scholars and 300 PhD scholars every time to pursue postgraduate education at the University of Science and Technology of China( USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of lores( UCAS) or institutes of Chinese Academy of lores( CAS) around China.

This year, asub-category of the ANSO Scholarship the ANSO- CAS- TWAS/ UNESCO PhD Education will be officially launched. Echoing the precedence of TWAS/ UNESCO, special( not exclusive) consideration will be given to two target groups Least Development Countries( LDCs) and women. Up to 40 PhD  scholars from developing countries will be  named by TWAS/ UNESCO into this  order every time.  

CAS, the leading  launching member of ANSO, is the major  guarantor of the ANSO Education. TWAS and UNESCO, both  launching members of ANSO,  give part of the backing for the ANSO- CAS- TWAS/ UNESCO PhD Education awardees. ANSO welcomes all members and parties who are interested in creating a more diversified education program together.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant must be Non-Chinese
Master’s Degree applicant must be born after 1 January 1993 (inclusive)
PhD Degree applicant must be born after 1 January 1988 (inclusive)
International students must fulfill the criteria of USTC/UCAS
Not take up other assignments during the period of his/her scholarship.
Be proficient in English or Chinese.
