The Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) was founded in 1970 through the initiative of the Norwegian and Swedish Save the Children organizations seconded by the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia. The Institute was named by the Norwegian physician, Gerhard Henrik Armauer Hansen, who first described the leprosy bacillus( Mycobacterium leprae). AHRI was reorganized by the decree of the Council of Ministers’s Regulation No. 376/2016 as biomedical exploration, clinical trial, and research capacity building under the Federal Ministry of Health. AHRI, over its 50 years in service, is well known for its hub function for skill and technology transfer and cooperation embracing research agendas with a direct impact on the development and transformation of the population in Ethiopia and beyond.
Position 1 Project Management Assistant
Education
A candidate must have a first degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, and related fields.
CGPA3.00 and above for male applicants and 2.75 and above for female applicants

Skills and Competences
- Highly organized, suitable to handle multitasks and oversee several projects simultaneously
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Fluent in English Languages, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and having experience in project management software is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving- skills
- Ability to work with others teamwork

Position 2 Junior Researcher Serology Lab
Qualifications and Competences
- B.Sc. degree in Medical Laboratory Science/ Technology, Biology.
Work experience isn't required
Hands-on lab experience in a serology lab setting is advantageous.
Willing to work on evenings, holidays, and weekends when necessary
Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Fluent in English Languages( speaking, writing, reading, and listening)
Advanced skills in computer science
Ability to work with others (colleagues, MSc and PhD students) respectfully, and professionally and maintain good platoon spirit all the time

Position 3 Junior Researcher Laboratory Logistics and Quality Management
Education A Bachler Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/ Technology Work experience and competencies
Zero-year work experience and knowledge of laboratory operation practices, quality assurance protocols
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colorful stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in using computer skills preferably any laboratory information management software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced terrain.
ignorance in English communication( spoken & written)
Willingness to be multi-tasked in lab logistics and lab quality management
