Awash Bank, Ethiopia’s pioneering private bank, was established on November 10, 1994 after the downfall of the socialist regime. The Bank was established by 486 founding shareholders with a paid- up capital of Birr 24.2 million and started banking operations on Feb. 13, 1995.

 Awash Bank S.C. Job Vacancy Announcement 2025 

Position 1: Customer Service and Operation Manager I 

Qualification & Experience 
BA Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field plus a minimum of six( 6) years’ experience, with at least three( 3) years at branch operation. 

The candidate is responsible for managing, organizing, co-ordinate, and controlling branch activities. S/ he manages the customer service function at the Branch and ensures functional excellence to deliver exemplary services for high client satisfaction situations. S/ he is responsible for increasing the Bank’s revenue by cross-selling products and services to existing customers and acquiring new customers. S/ he acquires, grows and deepens customer relationships in supporting the Bank’s growth. S/ he also ensures that transactions are cost-effective and profitable to the Bank.

Position 2: Principal – IFB Product Development Officer 

Qualification & Experience 
BA Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance and Economics plus a minimum of eight( 8) years in Banking operation, preferably in IFB services. 

The Candidate is responsible for IFB product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with colorful work units to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. S/ he ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and pretensions. The jobholder continually collects and analyses applicable request and competitor information to assess market position and identify threats and opportunities.

Position 3: Manager – IFB Product Development Division 

Qualification & Experience 
BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or related field of study plus a minimum of ten( 10) years of applicable experience with at least three( 3) years in an administrative role preferably in IFB services. 
Masters in a business-related course( added advantage) 
Professional course in affiliated fields( added advantage) 

The Candidate is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the IFB product Development division. S/ he is responsible for IFB product planning and prosecution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with colorful work units to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction pretensions are met. S/ he ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and pretensions. The retainer continually collects and analyses applicable request and contender information to assess request position and identify pitfalls and opportunities.
