The main purpose of the job is To provide transport services for staff and visitors of the British Embassy Addis Ababa to and from assigned destinations within Ethiopia in a safe, effective, and gracious manner observing all road traffic rules as well as internal post security regulations.
Position: Driver Messenger
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience
Valid and clean Grade- 3 or original driving license
Minimum of 3 years of empirical former driving experience
Good knowledge of original traffic laws, roads, and routes
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed
Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office Tools & email communication
Desirable qualifications, skills, and experience
former experience driving for an embassy, INGOs, or commercial setting
Protective driving certification
introductory vehicle maintenance skills
Proficiency in radio communication for coordination and security purposes
Customer service experience
Required behaviors

Level of language required Fluent in English
