Federal Technical and education and coaching Institute (FTVETI) was established in 2011 by The Council of Ministers Proclamation 245/2011 to provide extremely skilled and technically economical TVET lecturers and leaders. The drive for establishing FTVETI , among alternative things , was that there have been no establishment to coach competent and adequate technical and job lecturers and leaders supported the end result primarily based system and activity standards.
At the time of its beginning, the institute ran degree programs in five activity sectors namely: automotive, construction, electronics/electrical, info and communication technology and producing technology, and 2 years later railways and measuring technology departments were opened. Those programs embraced 10 specializations, namely, Automotive, Building, Road, Water, ICT, Electrical and management, physical science and Communications, producing, wheeled vehicle and measuring.
