Gadaa Bank was established to contribute towards profitable empowerment and holistic transformation of the low & medium- and medium-income section of the population in the country.  The founding members made a ferocious reflection on the livelihoods of the large majority of Ethiopian farmers, pastoralists,  youthful college graduates with entrepreneurial skills, and women who don't have access to fiscal services in general and in particular to loan types that suit their contexts.
