Lucy Insurance S.C. was established in 2012 with 39 visionary shareholders — famed businesspeople engaged in colorful industries across the country. The company began with a paid-up capital of Birr.
Over the years, Lucy Insurance has significantly increased its paid-up capital, reaching Birr in compliance with the National Bank of Ethiopia’s directive, which requires a minimal paid-up capital of Birr for GeneralInsurance and Birr for both General and Life Insurance. As of today, the company boasts 508 shareholders. During its recent periodic shareholders’ meeting, a decision was made to further raise the paid-up capital to Birr.
From its commencement, Lucy Insurance demonstrated strong fiscal performance. In its first time, the company achieved a modest profit, laying the foundation for sustainable growth. This profitability continued in the alternate year, enabling shareholders to enjoy a 28.3 dividend per share. In the third year, Lucy Insurance reported apre-tax profit exceeding Birr, followed by an even stronger fourth year with apre-tax profit of over Birr.

Position 1: Junior Database & System Administration Officer
Job Requirement
Required Academic Qualifications and Skills BA/ BSC Degree in Computer Science/ ICT/ IT/ IS or related fields of study from a recognized University or College.
