Nib International Bank (NIB) was established on 26 May 1999 under license no. LBB/ 007/99 in agreement with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and the Proclamation for Licensing and Supervision of Banking Business Proclamation no. 84/1994, with the paid-up Capital of Birr 27.6 million and authorized capital of Birr 150 million by 717 Shareholders.
The Bank commenced operations on 28 October 1999 with 27 employees. It joined the banking industry as the sixth private bank licensed in the country.

Position 1: Junior Banking Business Officer (IFB) – Branches Under City District
Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
Work Experience: 1 year of work experience in financial institutions as a Junior Banking Business Officer( CSO) or other original core business-related positions.
Sharia knowledge is an advantage.
Position 2: Junior Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer – Head Office
Education: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.
Work Experience
2 years of applicable work experience.
Additional Skills( Advantageous)
Experience with Nmap, Wireshark
introductory scripting( Python, Bash)
Understanding of DAST/ SAST concepts
Position 3: Junior Cyber Security Incident Response Officer – Head Office
Education: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.
Work Experience
2 years of applicable work experience.
Additional Skills( Advantageous)
Familiarity with SIEM
Endpoint protection tools
Network security fundamentals
Malware analysis, phishing investigations, intrusion detection
Position 4: Banking Business Officer( IFB) – Branches Under City District
Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
Work Experience
2 years of work experience in financial institutions, of which 1 year must be as a Junior Banking Business Officer or original core business positions.
Sharia knowledge is an advantage.
Position 5: Associate Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer – Head Office
Education: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.
Work Experience
3 years of applicable work experience, of which 2 years must be as a Junior Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer or original positions.
Additional Skills( Advantageous)
Vulnerability assessment & penetration testing tools frameworks
Scripting/ automation( Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Certifications similar to CEH, CompTIA Security
Position 6: Associate Cyber Security Incident Response Officer – Head Office
Education: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.
Work Experience
3 years of applicable work experience, of which 2 years must be as a Junior Cyber Security Incident Response Officer or original position.

Position 7: Senior Compliance Officer – Head Office
Education: MA/ BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.

Position 8: Senior Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer – Head Office
Education MSc/ BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.
Work Experience
years of applicable work experience, of which 2 years must be as a Cyber Security Engineer & Testing Officer, Security Solution Officer, or original position.
Additional Skills( Advantageous)
Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark
Certifications similar to CEH, CISSP
Position 9: Principal General Accounts Officer – Head Office
Education: MA/ BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
Work Experience
years of applicable work experience, of which 2 years must be as an elderly Accountant or original related positions.
Position 10: Principal Financial Reporting & Budget Control Officer – Head Office
Education: MA/ BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
Work Experience
years of applicable work experience, of which 2 years must be as a Financial Reporting & Budget Control Officer or original position.
Position 11: Branch Manager II – Bahir Dar Branch
Education: MA/ BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
