Oromia InsuranceS.C invites qualified & competent applicants for the following job positions  Oromia Insurance S.C.( OIC) was established and licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia on 26th January 2009 to engage in general insurance business.  It commenced its operation on 9th February 2009. The Company was established by 540 founding shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr 26 million and a subscribed capital of Birr 85 million. At the end of 2016/17 FY, the number of shareholders reached 840, the paid-up capital  This clearly demonstrates the fact that the Company commenced its operation with a strong and dependable fiscal capacity, being the first of its kind to mobilize such a huge amount of paid-up capital in the country’s insurance industry. also, the diversity of its shareholders manifests the Company’s strong social base which includes low-income farmers through their farmers ’ collaborative unions.  The Company has crafted a suitable mission that's customized to address the acute needs of its customers and has also developed dependable and continuously improving strategic plans that will help to ensure the consummation of its vision. 

Position 1 Underwriting Officer 

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Law, Engineering, or a related field of study from a recognized higher learning Institution 

Work Experience Two (2) years of applicable work experience 

Work Place Jigjiga Branch 

Position 2 Strategy and Change Management Officer 

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Economics or related fields 

Work Experience 2 years of applicable work experience in strategy or change management or planning or marketing or business development or original positions 

Work Place Head Office 

Position 3 Manager, Cash Management Division 

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Accounting and finance, Management or related fields of study from a recognized advanced learning institution and rather have been certified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants( ACCA). 

Work Experience 8 years of applicable work experience out of which 2 years as a Principal Accountant or 3 years as an elderly Accountant or original position. 

Work Place Head Office 

Position 4 Manager, Dabballee Branch 

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Law, Engineering or a related field of study from a recognized advanced literacy Institution and preferably have a diploma or advanced diploma in insurance from Chartered Insurance Institute( CII). 

Work Experience Six( 6) years of applicable work experience out of which 2 years as an elderly Officer or original positions  Work Place Jigjiga Branch 

Note- 

Term of employment all job positions is endless;  Work Place all job positions are Head Office of the Company 

Salary is as per the Company Scale;
