TechnoServe has assisted over 200,000 smallholder coffee households in East Africa to improve their incomes by increasing the quality of the coffee they produce, boosting their coffee production, and linking them to premium markets. Going forward, TechnoServe is developing innovative approaches and partnerships with corporations to enable more smallholder coffee households in East Africa to achieve livelihood security. In Ethiopia alone, TechnoServe has supported over 150,000 smallholder coffee households to improve their coffee productivity and overall coffee business over the once 10 years.

Positio 1 – Data Encoder
Required Qualification and Experience
Education Diploma/ Degree in IT, Computer Science, and or other fields with a minimum of 1- year experience in performing data entry.
Familiarity with Excel and Word software.
Perform introductory Excel functions similar to custom sort, filter, copy, paste, freeze rows columns, and can conduct search find, and replace in Excel.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Oral and spoken communication chops that are clear and terse in both English and Amharic.
Keen attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills.
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.

Positio 2 – senior Gender fellow required
Qualification and Experience
Education Bachelorette’s Degree in sociology, gender studies, social work and/ or husbandry or factory wisdom At least two times professional experience rather on gender or social addition or in community development systems with a special focus on gender equality
Experience coordinating training and/ or meeting logistics at the community- level
Experience facilitating training at the community- level; gender-related training preferred
Strong interest in advancing women’s advantageous empowerment
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as singly, and to work collaboratively, with a flexible approach.
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Fluent communication skills in original languages (Sidama for Bensa and Oromifa for Bulehora), Amharic, and English( listening, speaking, and writing)

Positio 3 – Analytics Manager
Required Qualification and Experience
Education A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, agribusiness, economics, pastoral development, statistics, or another applicable field of study (Master’s favored)
Experience At least 5- 7 years of progressively responsible, applicable professional experience. Strong preference for candidates from a management consulting or private sector background. High level of logical skills with the capability to construct an introductory business case and communicate the economic opportunities in the horticulture sector for both small-scale producers and private-sector actors
Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills, with previous experience in financial modeling and presentation deck development for external stakeholders
Demonstrated logical capabilities and experience carrying out related projects successfully, particularly in markets system analysis and posterior design and development of project interventions that solve business/ specialized challenges across the value chain.g., input provision, quality production, sourcing and aggregation, access to finance, market information and linkages, standards and certification, sales, and distribution
Significant experience managing multiple and complex stakeholder relationships Fluency in Amharic and English, with excellent English writing and verbal communication skills Ability to frequently travel to project sites, as necessary
