Walia Steel Industry (WSI) is a private limited company established in 2006 in Alemgena town of the Oromia Regional State, which is 20 km away from Addis Ababa. It was established with an original capital of Birr (two hundred million Birr) and, in the years to follow, has increased the capital.
We're seeking motivated and detail-oriented IT graduates to join our platoon as machine operators. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are interested in working with automated machinery and production systems.

Position IT Graduate – Machine Operator

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 0 – 1 time of applicable experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• introductory understanding of computer systems and machine operations
• Willingness to learn and adapt to artificial environments
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
• introductory knowledge of automation systems or industrial software
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware/software issues
• Teamwork and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor machines to ensure smooth production processes
• Set up machines and adjust settings as required
• Perform introductory troubleshooting and report specialized issues
• Ensure product quality meets company standards
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
• Assist in routine maintenance of machines
