The International Rescue Committee, one of the world’s largest humanitarian international NGOs, provides relief, rehabilitation, and development support to vulnerable people and communities in over 30 countries. IRC began work in Ethiopia in 2000 in response to severe drought in Ethiopia’s Somali region and is currently providing assistance to Ethiopians and refugees in six regions in Ethiopia, implementing emergency and development programs in health, water and sanitation, economic recovery and development( ERD), women’s protection and commission, education, child protection, and multi-sectoral emergency response.
Position Update Supply chain- Warehouse Assistant
Qualifications
Diploma in Supply chain Management, Management, Economics, business administration or related fields,
2 years ’ experience Diploma & 0-year experience for Degree.
Preferred experience & skills
Very good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word and Excel software application
Must have good command of both spoken and written English and Amharic.
Attention to detail.
Strong administrative skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Team spirit and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently & under pressure.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Strong sense of particular integrity.
Working in a multicultural environment
Expansive experience in the warehouse
NGO/ ERP/ experience is preferred( Plus).

Reporting to the Supply Chain Warehouse Officer, the Supply Chain Assistant- Warehouse is responsible for the effective coordination and management of warehouse functions for the IRC Sherkole Warehouse. The supply chain Assistant- Warehouse must be suitable to properly keep program supplies, assets, and equipment whilst ensuring stylish practices and maintaining proper recording and documentation.
