Position 1: MEAL OfficerRe-Advert  

Educational Requirements 

BA/ MA/ MSc in Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics, Development, or related social science field. Postgraduate degree preferred.  

Preferred Experience and Skill 

2 years of experience for degree holders and 1 year of experience for postgraduate and 5 years of experience for diploma holders. 

Values diversity, sees it as a source of competitive strength 

Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 

Excellent computer skills and competency in Word, Excel (data analysis and visualization), and PowerPoint. CommCare and PowerBI have a strong advantage.  

Strong organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time 

Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic,cross-functional global team structure 

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.  

Language Skills 

Strong oral and written communication skills in English, Amharic, and other original languages.

Position 2: Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Officer  

Educational Requirements 

BSc Degree or MSc Degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or related from a recognized University  

Preferred experience & skills   

At least 2 years of experience for first-degree holders. 

1 year of work experience plus a postgraduate degree and 5 years of experience for diploma holders.   

Experience in handling emergency programs and experience of team mobilization teams and having good knowledge of project management 

Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

Experience in budget management, Ability to use computer, and Specialized report writing skills.

Educational Requirements 

BSc Degree or Diploma from a known University in Electricity, Electromechanical, Auto- mechanics, or related fields and have excellent experience in surface water management and practical experience in electromechanical and water technician.

Position 4: Grants Coordinator  

Educational Requirements 

BA degree required; master’s degree in business management, International Affairs, Social Sciences, strongly  favored  Preferred experience & skills 

6 years of related experience with postgraduate or with first degree independently 

At least 4 years of management experience 

previous experience in program management and or grants management and proposal/ business development/ design 

previous knowledge of donors (ECHO, EU, USAID, BHA, BPRM, DFID, SIDA, GAC, UNICEF, UNHCR, OCHA, etc.) and government regulations preferred. 

Advanced MS Excel and Math skills are required( skills will be tested through an exam). 

Good communication with strong organizational, time management, and logical skills. 

Excellent interpersonal, artistic, and regardful skills. 

Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements. 

Strong capacity to tutor and build the capacity of staff. 

Ability to balance priorities, meet demanding deadlines, and work under pressure in unstable security surroundings. 

Strong digital literacy is required. 

Former successful experience developing projects, writing winning proposals, and donor reports preferred.  

Language Skills 

Proficiency in English, spoken and written, is the most important requirement for this job; Proficiency in Amharic is required. (The written English skills will be tested through an exam).

Position 5: Cash Transfer Program Officer  

Educational Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree and postgraduate degree in social science( economics, agriculture economics, Marketing, Rural Development, Banking, Project Management) or similar with applicable experience of the position demand.  

Preferred experience & skills 

2 years for bachelor’s degree 1 year of experience for postgraduates and 5 years of experience for diploma holders. 

Shown abilities on cash-based programs. 

INGO experience is a plus. 

Promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multicultural environment, flexible, and suitable to perform well under pressure. 

Applicable work experience in the field of cash transfer, particularly working with women, youth, and only & Separated children. 

Experience and/ or knowledge in the design and implementation of CVA programming is an asset. 

Excellent communication skills and suitable to work in a different artistic environment. 

Adherence to the IRC Code of Conduct understands other transnational development guidelines. 

Works well in and promotes collaboration in a multicultural environment, is flexible, and is suitable to work under pressure well. 

Good communication and social skills.  

Language Skills
