Kadisco Paint and Adhesive Industry S.C. previously known as Kadisco Chemical Industry PLC is a privately owned company located in Addis Ababa in the Akaki Kality Industrial Zone area. Kadisco is a company that traces its origins back to a small automotive parts dealership that was operating in one of the busy streets of Addis Ababa back in the late 60’s. During the period until 1975, it had the opportunity to act as the sole distributor for Sadoline Paints. In 1979 it was registered as the sole company to manufacture adhesives and glue. By stages, the company developed into a diversified paint manufacturer. 

Position 1: Assistant Procurement Manager 

Position Summary 
 The assistant manager- purchase is responsible for ensuring that all goods and services are procured in compliance with the purchasing policies of Kadisco Paint and tenacious industry SC, as well as applicable original procedures, and should prioritize cost saving and seek opportunities for product improvement. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities 
 • Materials and vendor management. 
 • Generating purchase order requests for raw material( RM) and packaging material( PM) purchases depending on stock levels. 
 • Developing alternate vendors. 
 • Monitoring vendor management in SAP- beginning with Vendor code  preface 
 • Monitoring material management in SAP- beginning with source lists and PIR maintenance. 
 • Preparing and reporting material forecasts in coordination with the production team. 
 • Daily balance confirmation from all suppliers and co-ordination with the accounts team for any query resolution 
 • Coordinating with  colorful suppliers for price quotations 
 • Maintain system hygiene( W.r.t open GRN, MAP fluctuation of RM/ PM) 
 • Monitoring AND REPORTING OF mis-Yearly reports on forex allocation, material in transit, and sourcing savings during the month. 
 • Ensuring that orders made to merchandisers are delivered and constant follow-up in case of detainments. 
 • Coordinating with external interfaces i.e. banks, insurance shipping, etc. for the material import process. 
 • Coordinating with the clearing agencies to clear the shipment from the port 
 • Verification of inward material in terms of quality and  volume by R&D 
 • Maintaining all purchase-related ISO documents. 
 • Ensuring all required documents against import maintained in transit operation file( TR file)-full set of correct shipping documents, cost checking, and finalization of declaration with customs and NBE 
 Functional Relationships Finance, Production, Warehouse, Sales Team, Customs, ESL, EAL, MOI, Vendor. 
 Reporting to Operations Manager 

Minimum Educational & Experience Requirement 
 • Bachelor’s degree in logistics and supply chain management, purchasing and supply chain management, business  operation, or any other related field of study with 
 • Minimum of( 7) years of applicable experience out of which three( 3) years as an elderly procurement officer/ procurement/ category specialist of original capacity preferably in the MFG industry. 
 Required competence level( additional skill & behavior) 
 • Superior attention to detail; skills  similar to  logical; critical thinking; problem- problem-solving; multi-tasking abilities are required in addition to integrity, and honesty 
 • Flexibility and ability to stay effective and motivated in a fast-changing environment. 
 • Knowledge of the original laws of the country 

Position 2: Procurement Officer 

Position Summary 
 • The Procurement Officer to join the Procurement team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing original raw material( RM) and packaging material( PM) procurement for the company, overseeing the entire process. As similar, the position holder will primarily be responsible for coordinating and managing all purchase activities related to RM/ PM across the organization, while ensuring timely updates to the management team. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 
 • Conduct supplier and product research to develop new vendors for original RM and PM, aiming to avoid vendor dependency and maintain records of vendor meetings conducted for this purpose. 
 • Monitor the inventory of RM and PM on a diurnal basis, including marble powders, beach, and other original materials similar as cartons, pails, tins, stickers, labels, PP Bags, Polybags, etc. 
 • Track RM and PM orders, ensuring timely delivery. Review the quality of purchased products and promptly post Goods Receipt Notes( GRN) according to the provided documents. 
 • Create vendor profiles, maintain an updated source list, and generate Purchase Info Records( PIR) and purchase orders for RM and PM before their introduction to the plant, or at least on the same day. 
 • Enter and maintain accurate records of bought products, delivery information, and invoice details( e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) in SAP and the process gate. 
 • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage of materials. 
 • Conduct spot inspections of RMs PMs during unloading, promptly reporting any defective items or inconsistencies to suppliers for nippy replacements. Coordinate with the production department for flawless replacements. 
 • unite with the QA  platoon to find original RMs when importing isn't possible. Coordinate sample delivery to new vendors, ensuring all samples have Technical Data Sheets( TDS), and obtain testing results for approval before proceeding with purchases. Coordinate with the technology/ production team for sample testing. 
 • Proactively update management on any expected disruptions in the supply chain and keep track of seller-related issues. 
 Functional Relationships with product, Warehouse, Sales Team, Customs, ESL, EAL, MOI, Vendors, etc 
 Reporting to Procurement Manager 
 Functional Relationships Officers and Merchandisers 

Qualification and Experience Requirements 
 • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, Management, or a related field from a recognized University;  fresh education or certification in procurement is a plus. 
 • 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a  transnational and manufacturing company 
 • IT skills, including familiarity with colorful software and systems. 
 • complete in using SAP software and other related applications. 
 • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. 
 • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
 • Excellent communication and interpersonal chops. 

Additional Requirements

 • Ability and willingness to work long hours and work with other staff

 • The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized,  tone- driven & have a good personality 
 • complete in MS word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook

Position 3: Painter 

Position Summary 

Painter is responsible for colorful paint application, Solvent and Water, Waterproofing, and construction chemical applications including site sampling and Floor coating application.

Qualification and Experience Requirements 
 
 • 3- 10 years of experience in painting 
 • Cement putty/ wall putty application, Emulsion paint, Paint design works, Texture application, Floor coating application, Airless, and Air assisted paint application 
 • No bar to educational background,  reliable as per expertise 
 • Managing register/workbooks, Good Shade matching, and color development idea 
 • English, Amharic 
 • Quick learner, organized working style, good communication skills, problem-solving approach
