Vacancy Announcement  National Electoral Board of Ethiopia( NEBE) is an independent organization established in agreement with Article 102 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Since its establishment, the Board has organized different branch offices at both the civil and indigenous levels, including the two executive metropolises. The NEBE has conducted five public choices, two original elections, and six referendums.  Since January 2019, to reform NEBE, the House of Peoples’ Representatives enacted a new proclamation that reduced the management board to five members that serve full time for six years. According to Proclamation No..:  1133/2019, the board has the following powers and duties.  

Position 1: Logistics Assistant  

Education and Work Experience  

MA or BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Transport Management, or any other related field.  0 years for Master's or 3 years for BA In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Fleet, and related job positions  Know Know-How ( Skills)( Technical competencies)  

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.  

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.  

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.  

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.  

Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes and terminology.  

Duty station NEBE Headquarters, Addis Ababa  

Position 2: Packing and Dispatching Junior Expert I  

Education and Work Experience  

MA or BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Transport Management or any other related fields.  

0 years for Master's or 3 years for BA in Supply chain management, Logistics, Fleet, and related job positions.  

Know- How( Skills)( Technical competencies)  Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.  

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.  

Good communication skill 

Ability to work well under pressure.  Familiarity with quilting accoutrements ,  

ways, and shipping regulations.

Position 3: Distribution and Documentation Expert  

Education and Work Experience  BA or MA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Transport Management, or any other related field.  

5 years for Master’s or 7 years for BA In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Fleet, and related job positions.  

Training and certification  Transportation Management, Change and Transformational management, Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Word.  

Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies)  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.  

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  

Ability to multitask, prioritizes, and delegate tasks effectively.  Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping requirements.  

Problem-  working abilities and a visionary approach to addressing issues.  

Familiarity with distribution and logistics industry trends and stylish practices.  

Duty station NEBE Headquarter, Addis Ababa  

Position 4: Deputy Head, Political Parties Affairs Department  

Education and Work Experience  MA degree or PHD in in Law, Political Science, Human Rights, International Relations, or any related field.  

9 years for Masters or 7 years for PHD (4 years in a leadership position)  

Knowledge: Sound knowledge of political systems, electoral processes, and political party dynamics.  

Strong logical skills and ability to interpret complex political situations and trends.  

Excellent communication, negotiation, and politic skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.  

Demonstrated leadership abilities and project management skills in political or communal engagement initiatives.  

Know- How (Skills) (Technical competencies)  

Knowledge of Ethiopia’s political context;  

Knowledge of the electoral cycle approach, election observation/ electoral assistance is a must;  

Strong planning, communication, and writing skills;  

Excellent computer literacy;  

Excellent working level of English and Amharic languages, in both writing and speaking;  

Duty station: NEBE Headquarter, Addis Ababa
